Don't get the HCL, trust me. It was very weak when I got it, although that could have been because of the vendor. And space out your trips, since it drains your serotonin like MDMA.

Glad you're interested, it's a great chemical. I would suggest taking a small amount of freebase aMT, around 15 - 20mg to get a feel of the drug. At this dosage you will feel some nice stimulation and euphoria. Then if you want to bump it up take 30 - 40mg and the effects will increase in intensity, visuals will become present also. I found 50mg+ to be where the drug shines, for me anyway. Fairly strong visuals accompanied strong euphoria and stimulation. Make sure you are prepared for a 15 hour + trip of awesomeness ;)
 
Personally I've only tried it in small doses (20-25mg freebase). At this level at least it feels very, very pleasant - euphoric and social, mildly stimulating. Easy to either socialize with others or slip into your own fantasies. Like stated above, it lasts quite a long time which is a big plus in my books. Need to try and dose higher next time, though some people complain of heavy bodyload.

I should be getting some AMT soon, hopefully tomorrow. I was planning on doing a ~1 mg allergy test, wait a few hours and then take a full ~40 mg dose. Would this be all right, or should I do an intermediary 15 - 20 mg step before going for the 40 mg one?
 
got a gram that ive not yet dipped into. not sure what to do whilst on it. i always try rcs for the first time at home so not gonna go out.
are beers ok mixed with it?

Personally i'd go for the 40mg dose, you'll feel very little from 15-20mg and when dosing that low you really won't get a feel for it imo, 40mg or less and the stimulant effects are obvious but the headspace isn't.

Beers should be fine, I got very drunk the once whilst on AMT, and another time I drank a couple of beers whilst on it. Both times I was fine, but just be aware that even one beer will heavily dampen the trip. I made the mistake of thinking one bottle wouldn't do very much and would probably add to the experience but half an hour later the visuals, stimulation & headspace all died down considerably. Since then i've always wondered why alcohol isn't more widely recommended for helping to kill bad trips in the same way benzo's are.

Hey watch out jumping from 1mg - 40mg. What if it was 2CE? etc.
 
Tried around 35mg (eyeballed), and found it very sedating after 3-4 hours. There were definately glimpses of MDMA-esque speed and euphoria but the rushes were just too short-lived for me to be any sort of party drug. Visuals were very interesting, especially CEV, I could see myself soaring through space in vivid detail and cartoon characters would appear in my field of view randomly which was highly entertaining. Should be treated more like a hallucinogenic for me than anything else
 
I also tried around 25mg (eye-balled) with Koloss, found the entire experience to be above average. At times a massive body high feeling, tingling all over almost whilst having intense closed eye visuals, then after 30minutes wide awake and ready to explore. It became apparent that the experience would be like this on off for a good few hours. My bedroom also seemed to hold some kind of significance to the trip almost as if the room itself was some kind of temple, seemed to trigger the trip every time we entered, don't know if this is normal? overall 8 /10.

Hmm, there is a lot to this compound, perhaps we should experiment with this one again, maybe up the dosage by 20mg. Me or LemonHaze might post a full report soon

Probably because alcohol is known for bringing out aggressive tendencies in people. It's also too short acting, which means constant redoses if you want it to be effective over the course of a long trip, and it can also make you feel sick.
 
I thought recommendation threads were against the rules? Oh yeah, I forgot, it's okay to break the rules in some threads but not others.

aMT is worth trying yes. Start your doses low. Hopefully by now you've had a good read of the Big and Dandy aMT thread.

Is aMT safe with LSD?

Is aMT safe with opiates?

Does anyone have any experiences with these combos?
 
^Theoretically it should be safe with LSD, and I believe people have successfully combined these two and reported on it as being a good experience.

Depending on the opiate, it may be safe. However, there are opioids which would not be safe to combine with aMT, such as Tramadol. Tramadol is an SSRI, and therefore there is risk of serotonin syndrome when combined with the aMT which is an MAOI. There are probably others which I'm not thinking of right now. It would be helpful if you told us which opiate you wish to combine it with.
 
I combined AMT and LSD many times, it is a wonderful experience. The releasing properties of AMT gives every psychedelic experience just a very positive feeling to it.
 
I do AMT like once every two months and always have a dose of like ~75mg. It gives me a massively euphoric, empathic, totally trippy and speedy mental and body high that lasts anywhere from 14-20 hours. Never fails to amaze me. I did it last Tuesday around 1730 and was still fucked at like 0800 the next morning. It's a really special substance and I'm glad it hasn't got stupidly popular like other RCs.
