Just a question, is there anyone here who has tried both 4-AcO-DMT and 4-HO-MET, and if so, how do they compare mentally, visually, physically? Also, how does the dosage compare, less, more, similar?

I personally have had some great experiences with 4-AcO-DMT and 2C-E, my vendor also stocks 4-HO-MET and I'm interested in giving it a try, as I seem to remember hearing that -HO compounds have a lower dosage than their -ACO counterparts, which having similar overall effects - is this true?

A friend of mine recently tried it and had a very visual and intense experience with 20mg oral, which sounds quite a low dose for me, as with 20mg 4-AcO-DMT, while the trip would be strong, the open eye visuals would be very minimal for me. I noticed there are reports here of very low doses with 4-HO-MET, however I've seen the same on the 4-AcO-DMT, but I'm talking about very visually *and* mentally intense experiences, which I find at 25mg+ with 4-AcO-DMT, and 15mg+ nasally with 2C-E.
 
I have tried both 4 aco dmt and 4 ho met, I prefer 4 ho met.

I haven't had as much experience with 4 aco dmt as I have with 4 ho met as I found it difficult to find a comfortable dose as I would be prone to anxiety throughout. I didn't find it particularly visual compared to 4 ho met.

4 ho met is all about the visuals for me! However a lower dose doesn't seem so deep, although the higher the dose the deeper I feel it gets in terms of introspection and overall mindfuck.

I think if you have found a place in mind for the other chems than this one will be worthy of the experience.

In general the HO is more potent than its ACO counterpart

but i wouldnt call the effect the same. In fact i find them to be quite different.
Usually the aco seems a little gentler as far as head trip and IME are always more fun, giggly jovial experiences (except for 4 aco dipt which isnt fun, while 4 ho dipt is great). ACO's also last a little longer.

ive been meaning to get some 4 aco met one of these days.
i have a feeling i would enjoy it alot.
 
It'd depends on what mushrooms too. Different strains contain different ratios of alkaloids. In general though I'd say 4-homet is less dark & so easier to relax on.
 
Goes great with aMT. This combo produced some of the best visuals I have seen on any psychedelic.
 
^^ Yeah I have tried that combo it was insanely visual! How much of each did u dose? When did u take them? Together? I had 40mg of aMT followed 4 hours later by 20mg of 4 ho met, it blew my head off!
 
aMT dose was around 30mg. Dosed 35mg of 4-HO-MET probably 7-8h later. The wallpaper was literally melting of the walls, and I remember looking out the window and witnessing the spectacular colours as the morning sky moved around like multi-coloured paint. :D

Fuck yes! Exactly what I was going to ask in this thread - 4-HO and AMT. Kickass.

I have wanted to try 4-HO-MET since I read about it in TiHKAL. Now I have a chance... but I was wondering how it compared to mushrooms because I don't like the mushroom mind fuck. How does it compare to 4-HO-MiPT or 4-AcO-MiPT?
 
^ 4-HO-MET is nothing like mushrooms imo. It feels very benign. I havent tried miprocin yet, but it is about as dissimilar to 4-aco-mipt as it is to mushrooms - and I would suspect miprocin as well.

Isn't that a bit subjective? The mindfucks I've experienced(admittedly on huge doses, 40+mg) have left me wondering for months.
 
Well. I think waiting a week inbetween will be sufficient, but of course, the longer you wait the better. :)

I think the general tryptamine tolerance carries over to cross-tolerance, and I'd say:

Day 0: 1x dose
Day 1: 2x dose
Day 3: 1.5x dose
Day 5: 1.3x dose
Day 7: 1.1x dose
Day 14: 1x dose
 
hmm... Well I guess I will have to see. Best to space trips out anyway so previous trips don't color the new trip. Just haven't tripped in years... like 3 years or so... maybe even longer... so I'm anxious about it lol

I fucking love 4-ho-met ! Very enjoyable trip although with high dose ! Great mind control, no "fear" or paranoid trip :D Very pleasant, no bodyload at all :D

Well i don't have any bodyload with the 4-ho-met :D

Does any 4-ho-met user have experiment bodyload or what ? I think this tryptamine is very safe physically :D

Plus the "mindfuck" is not deep as shrooms, it's all about visual i guess :)

I tried first 15mg, 18mg, 25mg and a friend of mine "overdosed" with 253mg precisely (confused his batch with Methylone... i was here) and he didn't experiment bodyload or "paranoid/fear" trip :) Everything is enjoyable :D
