AcO-DMT is completely different. AcO-DMT shatters your reality and your consciousness but has less OEVs and a much shorter duration. HO-MET shatters your very being and completely blanks your mind. I had maybe two thoughts the entire duration of the experience. The body high of HO-MET reminded me strongly of a disassociative - I felt sensations like my body was moving in different ways - pretty much in tune with the visuals and I did get a mild headache but I haven't been really taking care of myself lately.

If I can work out exactly what happened, then yes. I am not sure how to put this into words because I have never experienced anything even remotely like it. The completely and total destruction of myself was something so profound that I don't know how to put it into words. I was everything and nothing at the same time because my mind was completely blank. Whenever one of the strong waves would hit me, I would not be able to tell you my own name - its doubtful I would even be able to acknowledge your presence.

That said, can others with experience comment on MagickalKat's post? I don't think I've read of others having a similar take on this chem's effects. If anything, I think most people find it more benign than mushrooms or 4-aco-dmt...?
 
Well I've got a friend tripping on 18mg right now and about 20 minutes ago she told me she had to get off the phone and go lie down because the flowing and patterns are making her dizzy - and she's a tryptamine hard head... Maybe there was a bad batch?
 
There is a similar report in this thread, but the dose was much higher - 180mg.
 
YMMV. People just react differently to these substances. I have no doubt that methocin can be world shattering for people at the doses you described.
 
Anyone still experimenting with this one? I'm considering a sample, not yet sure where to start.

I'm considering because (correct me if i'm wrong):

More visual than 4-aco-dmt
less prone to anxiety
 
I will be trying this (finally) soon. Had it sitting around for ages but unfortunately I have had "more important" things to do, like getting married etc.

Anyway theres not a lot of info on this chem and I was wandering if anyone knew any dosage guidelines? Ive heard people saying anything from 20-100mg as a strong dose.

Whilst I appreciate that its not black and white and all drugs affect different people differently for most substances I have always followed Erowids dosage guidelines , with great success .

In my opinion and based on no tolerance I find 15mg to be a good first dose of this.

When I start pushing it past 20mg (without tolerance) it can get really intense and take me by surprise! Tremors and all my muscles stiffening etc on come up can be pretty harsh but once you pop the visuals and euphoria are wicked.

Like I said before it's like letting a psychedelic hand grenade off in your head at higher doses!
 
Conducted an allergy test today, no probs :)

Thinking of starting in the 15-20 area and work my way up over the course of the next few weeks.

I was drawn to this compound because of its reputation as a good visual drug. I will be seeking a dose with immersive visuals/not to much body load.

Anyone have experience with doses from the 30-40mg range? How do the visuals and euphoria compare to say 20mg? And what about body load/nause?
 
I wouldn't DARE take this drug in that range... seriously it will kick your ass at 20mg... I couldn't imagine going higher.

And there is 0 body load with this one and 0 nausea for me... it feels very natural for it to be in my body unlike 4-AcO-DMT.
 
I have no intension of exceeding 20mg for the first 2-3 trips probably start a bit lower in fact.

MagickalKat777: would you say 20mg gave you a +++ experience? Ideally Thats what I am aiming for :)
 
19.2mg was +++.5 experience. Its in the top 5 most powerful experiences in my life. I was literally floored for hours... I terminated the trip that was still at a ++ 9 1/2 hours later with klonopin and alcohol...

Seriously I've never been floored from anything but MDMA before... I literally couldn't move and the OEVs on my popcorn ceiling were changing colors and flowing so damn fast you would think I smoked a sub-breakthrough dose of DMT :O

And the body high... yum. Much more MDMA like than shroom like... actually its more mescaline like than anything...

Also don't let the chemical fool you... I thought I was pretty much sober many times and then it slammed back into me... it comes in waves...
 
Theres a few trypts I have experience with that also come and go in waves so im expecting it :) cheers for the heads up though!

I will post my thoughts on the substance on this thread, and possibly compile a proper TR , but I may not have time.
 
Yeah its a really hard to explain chemical... just take it and find out is all I can say but buckle in tight because its a WILD ride!
