The Big & Dandy 4-AcO-DMT Thread - Act Four

Does this compound make anyone else extremely sleepy, and mentally sluggish? I finally got around to trying this one a few times and every time I got anywhere near a ++ I had to fight to stay awake. Coffee and adrafinil had no effect on this.
Shrooms normally give me the yawns, but I also feel up to hiking for miles and my mind is working a mile a second.
Am I alone in this? Least favorite 4-sub I've tried.
 
I may be sensitive to this compound but 10 mg of 4-Aco-DMT fumarate gave me a nice high with an awesome bodyload and some impressive visuals! Too bad that the compound last too short :(
 
same here. around 30 mg 2 hrs after dinner, in a shot glass of water. came up after 1 hour, lasted for 3, ended abruptly with a huge yawn after 3 hours. Very mild effects, no glow, few visuals. Last time was more intense (a week ago). Will try the lemon next.

Im right here with you buddy. I did around 50 mg once and got only threshold effects and MAX relaxation and slight body high and blurry vision. I went to bed shortly after.
 
Weird... when I've had 35mg of this stuff, it's been a little too intense. Crazy visuals, unable to focus on things for much more than a few seconds, super euphoric. But I do get sedative effects, especially during the come up. Lots of psychedelic yawns, and I always get through the come up easiest when lying down.

My friend got effects that were too intense from 35 mg. He had the most intense/horrifying trip of his life. In my 50 mg experience I made sure to wait for over 2 hours for its full effects to show... they never developed beyond threshold and the body high didn't seem to last as long as it normally does.

It's not I don't believe you it's just that whether or not 4-AcO-DMT is broken down to psilocin or not....that acetate group does not really change the compound from the parent molecules action (other than potency in some cases, or duration in this case)....not at least based on my limited understanding of pharmacology.

of all substances, psilocybin/psilocin and the acetate ester are seemingly the most consistent psychedelics there are next to LSD. So... who knows about regent testing and how regents react to psilocin/psilacetin vs ethocin, iprocin, etc? I'd be curious how authentic some of the psilacetin batches are with the above comments.

Keep in mind psilocybin is used more than any psychedelic I am aware of in human studies around the world.

If I had t hazard a guess (and it's been 24 years since I withdrew from pharmacology), I'd say a lot of the variability is due to fast/slow hydrolysis in different people and fast/slow transport across the BBB. Eh, you could substitute efficient/inefficient I guess. And then the possibility of AcO hydrolysis in the brain (not sure on that one). It would be nice to take some radiolabelled 4-AcO, inject/orally dose it in lab animals and watch where it ends up.

The effects could end up all over the place if you take a large enough group of test subjects.

I've only tried it once so far, but I find the effects extremely close to mushrooms. A larger dose in a couple days will see if I still feel that way.

Plugging did work vastly better than oral and insuff for me.
Sadly and disturbingly I do not currently own any testing reagents. However the material I was using was rated well by others. Could of been shit quality but, I'm fairly certain it is what it is. Another possibility is my overdoing of 25c up to a few months ago, but other drugs are starting to work properly again.
Psilocybin/psilocin in the form of mushrooms are indeed quite consistently active in me and a favorite. 4-ho-mipt and 4-aco-det were also fairly neat and as advertised though I needed higher doses than most. Oral just doesn't seem to work too well for me with either of them.
The 4-aco-DMT was just sleepy and boring with some mild morphing and paterning, my only thoughts were of trying to keep my eyes open. Shrooms at that level would tend to have my mind bursting with song ideas and or fantasy.

I can verify that I have gotten effects I would expect from it before, but that was only my first time. It was rather weak. My later trials were with greater material and yet even weaker (even though I waited a very long to let tolerance dissipate).

Just as indicator of authenticness... 35 mg gave me a nice warm light trip with beautiful but very light visuals... the same dose from the same batch (at the same time) made my friend have MASSIVE visuals (huge colored swirls of brown, red, orange, and fractals) and made him think he was dying. He was having constant scenes of horror playing in his mind.

Sound about right to you? Also it gave a heavy body high similar to an opiate.
 
No, it doesn't. I know YMMV and words can be misleading.... Either way, psilacetin is nearly identical to psilocin...its not as 'cold' probably a similar relationship between heroin and morphine (heroin is 3,6-diacetylmorphine)...heroin being more warm, and perhaps more on the recreational side.

So the fact it gave me a decent but light trip and gave a friend the heaviest trip of his life means it doesn't sound like psilacetin? Because in my experience that sounds a lot like the individual tolerance and dose issues I've seen with tryptamines time and time again. Care to explain what you think it sounds like then? Because honestly it doesn't sound like anything else.

I'm just tired of people questioning the identity of my substance when I report that it doesn't quite affect me normally.

What is your tolerance to other psychedelics? How much mushrooms do you eat for what effect?

Interesting... I have also noticed 4-aco to be more warm, gentle, clear headed, and euphoric, even on heroic doses... I wonder if its related to the ACO
 
Actually, it was some greenlighter's post that made me question....I know YMMV, etc but I've shared a lot of 4-AcO-DMT with a lot of folks and there just has not been any inconsistency...it works like the mushrooms work. I know you know your stuff bloodshed344, not questioning your brain but even the best "RC VENDOR" doesn't GCMS every batch they get and the wrong stuff has been sent out to many people over the years....it is normal for people like me to question when it comes to inconsistent results with a very consistent psychedelic.
 
Even my fiance, who has some weird reactions to psychedelics (well, she has tripped with me nearly everytime I have tripped, usually around half the dosage of me, and she is always fine, has a good trip, learns alot, nothing overboard) but there have been two times she has completely lost her shit on normal doses. One time we had 3 hits of WoW and we ripped it in half and split it, and she went COMPLETELY bonkers, walking up to ppl thinking they were jesus, we were at a festival, when the music would finish and people clapped she thought she was God acting out a play her entire life and was the main actor and the audience was clapping for her, she was happy at parts and completely terrifyed at others and screaming and crying, it was terrifying :-(

then she had a few more good trips and one time we took some 4-aco-dmt, we all took the same dose, which was a fairly large dose, but we were all fine but she went bonkers again, thought she was mother earth, told me she was pregnant (i thought she was serious!! !!!! haha i was tripping hard too later on she pissed the bed and told me her water broke and i thought i was going to leave the hotel with a kid, i saw her stomache get HUGE and then collapse and i was freakin out lol well mostly laughin my ass off that i just had a baby) but alas the main point here, is during the time on 4-aco when she lost it, she was smily, laughing, having a great euphoric time the entire time, the sweetest little thing...

unfortunatly nowadays she is scared shitless of psychedelics after binging with me a bunch... even though shes had many good experiance since then she is always scared of the chance of that happening again so she its very hard to get her to take psychedelics and when she does she limits her self to specific enviornments, which may be smart i suppose but hopefully over time she'll give them another chance a bit more responsibly :)
 
Where does one apply for a fake profile job? I need something to pay for the gram-loads of this chemical once I find someone to share it with
