Yar, 12mg of 2C-E plugged was way too much for me.

It was my first time plugging anything and I wasn't expecting it to hit me that fast. It hit in 5 minutes and I was peaking by 30. I hurled my guts out at 20 minutes because it was so overwhelming.

Didn't plug after that. Oral dosing is much more pleasant and euphoric to me.

Soft :) Rectal is the only way to go IMO, the only drawback for me is that it comes on too quick to even have a shower afterwards, so through the trip i have that yucky gooey feeling of lube in my ass. It's not that bad really, only when I concentrate on it, it feels a bit gross. Next time I might try jumping in the shower straight away.

Other than that, rectal is the only way to fly with RC's for me, especially with 2c-e which makes me feel very sick when taken orally
 
SWIM is getting some 2c-e very shortly, but I am unsure as to what size dose to start out with. From looking at erowid, I was going to go for about 15 - 16mg, but I thought id ask people here to see what they thought of it.

In terms of past experiences with psychs, I've never tried any 2c's, taken acid 9 times or so, mountains of ketamine and shrooms twice. I was planning to take it orally because it sounds as though there is a lot more bodyload from insufflation, and i have weak stomach.

Do you think this is the right size dose to start out with?
 
^ Since you have some experience with psychs, I'd say it sounds like a good enough starting dose. Unless you're really sensitive to psychedelics, like some people seem to be - 13 mg made for a very intense experience for a female friend of mine, for example. But for an average person, 15-16 mg is a nice enough dose.
 
Yes, 15mg would be a good starting point considering your experience. 18mg would probably begin to get a lil more serious for me.

Actually, until now, I prefer low dose of 2C-E (like 10-12mg). With theses dosages I get interesting analytic faculties and a good mood while bigger doses bring me nothing but confusion (IME salvia is a good tool to transform this confusion into an informative state of mind). It took me some times to get this :/
 
Question about 2c-e

I took 2c-e last night at around 10pnm. I know you can't really redose with 2c-e but Iwas wondering if you think I could take another dose now and still get a decent trip? It's 5:30 now, approximately 19.5 hours since my last dose.

If anyone can share their experience or post a link to where this is explained, that'd be great.
 
I've not tried redosing with 2C-E (I believe Xorkoth has though and probably others here too) but I have with other 2Cs and it is reasonably effective. Maybe not as strong as the initial trip but not hugely less so in my experience with other 2Cs.
 
Eh you probably could, but I don't see why you would want to.

I'd wait a week or so before dosing again. But imo you shouldn't regularly trip that often though.....but that's just me.
 
Would you really consider it redosing though? I mean I'm not taking it in the middle of the trip (which I actually did do last night with no luck). I'm sober now and want to take it again.

I was sort of disappointed with 2c-e last night. Do yoou think it could be that I have been taking 5-htp?
 
How much 2ce did you take? Have you been taking any other psychs lately?

And yea I wouldn't consider it redosing. I would consider it tripping for a second time.
 
No other psychs lately. I took about 15mg first dose, then redosed another 20mg or so which did nothing. I also blazed lots of weed and hash on top of it

I mean sure I was definitely tripping but it lacked the visuals that I keep hearing about.
 
It's not redosing, but there will definitely be some tolerance from last night. It usually takes at least 4 days for the 5HT receptors to regulate back up after a trip. If you must do it, however, expect diminished returns, and take a somewhat higher dose than you would otherwise.

^ Wow, so you took 35mg in total? That's a massive dose of 2C-E. How much time had it been since the initial dose when you redosed?
 
Well, 2.5 hours is generally enough time for some tolerance to take place, which is the reason why redosing usually does mostly nothing but prolong the effects.

And that is exactly the result I got.

Anyways, I took the 2c-e. I eyeballed a dose around 30-40mg while taking into account the tolerance I would have built up from last night. This was about 20-30min ago.

You can call it stupid or irresponsible but I just had to do it. I have to break through and see what all the buzz is about this RC.
 
Uh, well eyeballing 2C-E can be mighty dangerous due to it's extreme dose/response nature, but what's done is done I suppose. Best of luck on your trip!
