You'd still get detained, probably, but when all their tests for specific illegal drugs come back negative, most local and state police would give up if it was just one capsule, at least in more liberal jurisdictions. In Colorado, at least, there was a district court case establishing that AET was not an analog for DMT. Some police pursued Analog Act charges for a fairly significant quantity of AET and got shot down. Of course, the feds then scheduled AET, but the fact remains, the analog charges failed in federal court. In state court, if there's no catch-all clause and it's not scheduled, they can't hold you for long since they can't charge you with a crime. Cops are lazy, and putting together an Analog Act court case takes a lot of time and resources and still isn't guaranteed to stick. If it's just for small possession charges, it's probably not worth it.
