i was told that xanax has been made schedule 9 (or what ever the class oxy is in) lf you have xanax hold onto em or if you have scripts get them filled ASAP and stock up........fuckin a current affair
Alprazolam (also known as Alprazolam Intensol, Niravam, Xanax, Xanax XR) is on course to be changed from a Schedule 4 to a Schedule 8 drug, following a recent recommendation by a TGA advisory committee according to the Australian Doctor publication. The report said that alprazolam is understood to be the only benzodiazepine recommended for rescheduling, with concerns over abuse, particularly by heroin users. The official recommendations of the TGA committee considering the scheduling will not be announced until late next month.
Has anyone else here experienced the problem whereby a psychiatrist is reluctant to prescribe benzos because of past drug-use? I was on Suboxone a while back for abusing codeine (damn CWE lol), and prior to this the psych was saying I needed to go on clonazepam, but after finding this out she sort of just never mentioned it again.
I have the most extreme insomnia imaginable and these are the only things that work.
Currently resigned to getting small amounts of temazepam from the GP who doesn't know about the Suboxone and drinking myself to sleep, but it's not a very ideal situation.
The insomnia is so bad that I am seriously considering going back on Suboxone even though I'm not at all addicted to any opiates.... fml![]()
That doesn't sound right, can you really get sub to treat codeine addiction?
.
What dose of Diazapam would you recommend for a good chill out. I am prescribed 2mg tablets and 4 mg does nothing.
Clonazepam is pretty much the "safer" version of Xanax IMO. It lasts longer, 24hrs+ I believe so you don't suffer the same intense WD's like Xanax.
Can anyone who has experience with etizolam and pyrazolam tell me how they compare.
Is pyra more anxiolytic than etiz? Or is it more sedateing?
