I better not wait till next tuesday for this, it'll have been 15 days on friday...nosey pharmacists who think they're doing me a favor since I can "pick all at once"...they got delivery guys. fuck.

Have u ever been on meth? Do u prefer subs to them? I guess this might b in the wrong place but I have a benzo ? Too. The clinic is a fucking bitch. I literally have to drive 45 mins(one way) to get there everyday. The ironic part is I have a clinic literally 1 mile from my house. But their rule is no benzos. Atall for any reason. So im forced to go to a private one. Since I'm attempting to detox of meth(38mgs) I was thinking of switching to subs. My pcp is actually a sub dr too. But I was on subs when they first came out in 2005, & they just didn't work for me. Still had cravings,did drugs ect. On the meth I've been able to actually follow thru, acomplish things & stay off the heroin & coke. I'm not going to say im totally better(still smokd weed & occasionally over take my benzos) but I'm sooooo far away from the place I was in 2005. We all knowwhat a dope/coke habit will do, put us, and our loved ones thru hell. My bf is on subs(hes so lucky his dr gives him a rx with 4 refills. He also gets 2mg kpins(75.)
Its a tough descision. Really I'd prefer no subs/meth but im pretty sure im not ready to go that far yet. Imo subs are so simillar to meth except no clinic, & methadone works better for some. But people think coming of subs is a cake walk &I kno first hand(from my bf) it could be as bad as meth wds. Not to mention how damn expensive subs are. I don't know. Not to mention I hate change & can't make my mind up about anything. Maybe that has to do w my anxiety problem!! Being neurotic?
 
I was on methadone at first in october 2012 through august 2013 when blood tests confirmed methadone was screwing my testosterone levels. But I got pick ups at the pharmacy, one at a time, after 90 days of clean piss. Then 1 every month after that. By August 2013 it had been a long while since I would go and bring home all 6 methadone bottles (1 taken in front of the pharmacist or technician). Bupe works like methadone here, scripted only for a week max and the same ORT clinic takes care of me. I guess there's some little advantage here, i'm just curious as to why you can't get takehomes after all this fuckin time on methadone, I never heard of an ORT clinic not allowing takehomes ever.

But yeah, 45 miles of a drive for 'done....I was out of a car while at the bottom of the barrel when I started the methadone, thanks to my kindly mother who lives just one block farther from me, I faced the ridiculously cold at times (and since 2012, winter has been like it was like when I was a kid in the 80's around here) in a car from an incredibly generous person. I don't think I would have made it without her driving me to the pharmacy everyday. I gotta say the worldwide system (USA lives in its own world) is much better though (picking up at the pharmacy, not some clinic that might or might not be inside a hospital).

I'm going to answer you're question about take homes first. My clinic is crazy, seriously though since I have a rx for diazapam(any benzo) I am allowed 5 take homes a week(have NO clue why its not 6, )but anyway, my pcp(primary care physician) rxs them for me. Their crazy no sence rule is NO TAKE HOMES IF YOUR BENZO IS RXED BY ANYONE, except a phychiatrist. I guess I could try to find one but the way insurance & everything in my state it will take probobly 6 months-year, so thats why. Since they're private they can make up crazy fucking rules(ie they took someones take homes last week because they passed a cig in line) today some one got real pissed & screamed "THIS IS THE ONLY FUCKING CLINIC THAT MAKES UP RULES AS THEY GO ALONG." It's true, if i told u all thier rules itd be a 1000 page book. But they got us bc they're the only clinic that actually allows u to take a rxed benzo & methadone.

Yah I forget the US is SO DIFFERENT from everywhere else. I honestly don't understand why our fda thinks suboxone is SO didderent than methadone. I've said it before my bf is on subs. He still sells them, overtakes them and is very addicted to them. Maybe bc of the overdose factor? thats the only reason a i can come up with. It's MUCH easier to od from methadone than it is suboxone.
 
Do you have some advice on how to decrease the tiredness and fatigue the benzos bring?
I'm taking zoloft and Zyprexa for depression and 2mg of ativan for sleeping. At 10pm I feel alredy very tired and sleepy..
 
benzos are like smack, their good for a year until you realize you cant live without them.

I posted this under a separate thread but then saw this. I'm very grateful for this forum. So far this is uncomfortable as hell, but manageable. Should I stick with the w/d's or reinstate and taper down from .25? Is it possible to taper so you have NO symptoms? I've been on "low" once daily dose for about a year. 1mg for a while, then .5, and most recently .25 for sleep. I took my last .25 about 8 or 9 days ago. Felt absolutely fine for a week, but 3 days ago started to feel like I had a cold (I don't) and general cloudy feeling. Lethargic, sweating like crazy, etc. I realize the half life of the drug probably kept me going for a while, but now it's withdrawing and hence the symptoms. I'm pretty sensitive to meds and stuff, so I'm not surprised I'm feeling this way, just want to know if it's in line to pass soon :)

I am still able to get out and squeeze a workout in, run for a few miles - but in general I'm feeling pretty gross.

Question: Is this a normal feeling 8 days after last dose. Can I expect it to get worse from here? I drink tons of water and try to stay active. I'm in recovery from other stuff (non opiate/benzo) for about 11 years, so can't really take anything to cut this.


Any responses are appreciated.

I know I spotted an "RC Benzo" thread in. Search the other day but can't find it now, so thought I'd interject here.
despite being a BLer for 12 years now (!) I'm still mostly a benzo n00b.
First tried them With a lorazepam script last year (did nothing), mixed some xanax/lorazepam with dilaudid/alcohol (not smart .. but sure felt good), and unsuccessfullly tried to use both to combat dirty-X aftermath.

Anyway, history lesson over, I just stumbled onto the wonder world of 'RC' diazapines.

Ordered some etizolam to start (the legit Etilaam pills) and am underwhelmed.
Took 2mg each the first two days, I like my beer on the weekend so I'd had 2-3, and was promptly knocked out at some point for a couple hours. Other than that, didn't feel any effects before/after.
Took 2mg sober yesterday and just felt the edges of something, but no noticable effects. Had a few brews later and wasn't drowsy at all. At 3mg + 1beer today, I feel minorly.sedated & relaxed.

so anyway, being free & clear of cannabis these days and not using anything else (except for my delicious local microbrews) I am interested in the other 'new'ish 'RC' benzos/etc on the online market. I have some anxiety issues but they are mostly under wraps with my mood-stabilizer/antipsychotic Rx, so I'm really just looking for something to chill with, and maybe help me reduce alcohol intake, per Doctor's orders.

One vendor I found sells 4 varieties, in powder form, but not cheap as it's 1-5G minimum depending on the item.

Diclazepam: good price; BL opinion seems mixed between better v. worse than Etizolam

Etizolam: praised but so far unimpressed. Slightly pricey.

Flubromazepam: sounds like it's the best of these, but prohibitively expensive

phenazepam: bargain priced, but everyone says it's a nightmare to be avoided due to it's extremely small dosage & it's longevity.

So just wondering which one of these seems to be the best to go with, all things considered.
FTR I am well aware of the addiction potential.

Silver, I know whom your referring to, I'd say if money was not an issue, go for the Flubromazepam, if money's a factor, the the Diclazepam :) I'd steer far from Phenazepam. Whatever you do, just realize that powder will be extremely potent, be very, very careful when dosing.. IMHO if I were you, I'd buy pellets of Flubromazepam.. Don't go from, metaphorically speaking, taking codeine, straight to shooting dope. Powder's no joke.

Does anyone notice a difference between Oral Bromazepam vs Sublingual? Or plugged even.

^ its oral BA is around 80%. Maybe a little higher SL'd or plugged with a faster onset.
But that is just me reading the BA of it and opinion on how it "should/could" be different with a different ROA.
I've done a shit ton of benzos but never bromazepam.

Since phenaz was brought up ill throw in my .02:
I used to love phenazepam, was really close friends with a vendor.. now can't find the shit anywhere. It even used to be on Ebay when it first started widespread RC use lol.
I personally don't find it a dangerous benzo powder AS LONG as you have some self control and a GOOD/GREAT mg scale.

The xanax isn't being absorbed in your nasal passsge. It makes.its way into your gut where absorbed, taking effect.

You're doing unnecessary damage to your nasal passage snorting something which essentially is inert that route.

More power to you, though.

It's definitely still out there, although I have an insane tolerance / addiction to bzd's phen is one I'll pass on, unless I was out of bzd and that was the only thing I could get so I'd stay well. Thanks for the info. Was bored yesterday, had taken a ton of benzos, and was ready for my next 13 pills (Mix of klonopin, bromazepam, valium, and ativan x1) So I ate them all, SL'ed the Bromazepam which seemed okay, and decided to insufflate the Lorazepam. I know snorting most benzos is a waste, and I'm just getting the pill to hit quicker from it being ground up / the dip being directly ingested, but I swear I felt it hit nearly instantly.. Quicker than if I snorted Triazolam (Over-rated benzo)
 
Exactly.

One of the only you're able and which is worth it in my experience is midazolam. Get ya hands on the injectable vials as I have in the past for, ah, injecting, and youll find something close to heaven. Mix in your injectable opipid of choice and youve found chemical nirvana. Much that of those beautiful places DMT can take you.
 
If some of you who have experimented with a lot of benzos had occasional (quite rare) anxiety problems a few times a year, and were going to get a small script for a benzo to relieve your anxiety for up to a couple days a few times a year, what benzo would you want?
