i guess it is the one inroad research chemicals have made into semi-legit retail in this country.
it seems like the USA has all manner of things for sale in normal stores, from smoking blends to kratom (not an RC, but still) in things like "gas stations", whereas research chems seem almost synonymous with a lot of european countries, especially the UK.
for a lot of social reasons, the smoking blends have really taken off in australia (especially my home state of WA with a lot of well-paid miners who get piss tested but love a smoke and price is no issue) and it is a market that has become established enough in the last 5 years for some retailers to either take the risk or keep up with 'legal' additives.
i'm dubious about this because there is such a good chance that the actives are either illegal - or worse - that they're just rolling out dodgy untested ones to keep one step ahead of the law.
considering how much i see people buy this shit every time i step into a certain jolly, elated herb vendor (before i inevitably walk out in disgust) it is a scary thought.
i think the risk being taken by users is really starting to outweigh whatever legal risk the sellers are assuming, but i bet there are some people getting very rich from this crap.
