I also think that 8 Aug 08 would be cooler. Either way, I'd be happy to join in (assuming I could obtain the necessary substrate), but two things will stand in my way: (1) that time (20:00GMT) is not convenient in my time zone and (2) I've never been able to 'break through' with DMT--it is some harsh shit and tastes like a monkey's anus...nothing like a hit of melting plastic.
Although, as cool as this sounds, we have to remember that DMT, like all psychedelics, is just a chemical--a chemical that elicits a specific phenomenological state by binding to certain receptors in the brain (e.g. 5-HT2a/c, TR1, 5-HT1a) and triggering downstream signaling cascades. Like all psychedelics, it is a great pharmacotheologic tool for studying the nature of consciousness and the neuronal basis of spirituality. But, it's a little silly to just assume a priori that it 'links conscious minds' by altering our state of quantum entanglement. We don't yet know enough about either quantum mechanics or consciousness to judge if the previous statement even has any meaning, or if it is just jibber jabber--a fancy way of saying "purple monkey dishwasher."
