Stoked, now im all excited, we are also getting a hotel room in the ciity, going to be a bender of a night

starfalls : check out the travelodge in martin place, they are only 130 a night in the center of sydney... top shit there ;)

I havent seen MGF for a while, always a um... "different" type of show.

Cant remember much of Cut Copy at splendour coz yeh... it was the second morning...

Sonic Animation, the first time i saw them was at homebake 2 yrs ago or some crap like that and loved it, hopefully the are the last act in the tent again, be tops.

So yeah... If you havent got ur tickets yet... HURRY THE FUCK UP, its going to be a rad day

it will sell out eventually, for some reason it does every yr... but i would suggest trying to get them this month, or early november, because it just seems to sell quicker.

starfalls - i kinda remember them, if my dumb mate didnt find me, and i didnt smoke up, i think i may of remembered a little bit more.
 
The lineup for this event is the reason why I have never been to a homebake or a big day out. Why pay nearly a hundred dollars to see a bunch of bands I don't like?

I find it much more rewarding to just see the bands I like while they're playing their sideshows.
 
i will admit that having two festivals on close together (splendour and homebake) with pretty much the same line lineup is whats not so appealing bout this one.

while i will try to not be negative about homebake why have the same line up nearlly as a close previous festival? surely that would indicate that people arnt goin to pay $100 two times in a row...

i mean geeze...i drove all the way up to Byron bay and spent around $1000+ for Splendour...and what made that the best thing was the company i was in and the bands...but there just isnt anything bout Homebake that i really want to see...even the ones i was impressed with at Splendour.

sometimes their side shows are better...but im a no definantly now.

Shit! I'm so broke and can't afford a ticket till next week but will have to try and get one on thursday and pay other stuff next week. I can't miss out! I so want to go!
