SuperBowl: New York Football Giants VS New England Patriots

Giants coach Tom Coughlin suspects there's more to Bundchen's announcement than meets the eye and detects a whiff of classic Belichick gamesmanship.

"Belichick is behind this, I can smell it. He wants us going into the game thinking his team is distracted and conflicted. First off, I'm not going to have the girlfriend of an opposing quarterback run naked on our home turf. Second, if Bill wants to play that game, fine. If the Patriots win, our offensive line will run buck naked through the streets of Foxborough. That's over 1,000 pounds of highly repulsive man-meat. Your move, Belichick."

haha, i fucking love tom coughlin! looking for this on youtube right now. what a classic.

the article was tongue-in-cheek, Robot J. and I always know what I am talking about. there is more football knowledge in my right testicle than in your whole being TR.

lol haven't seen u around a lil while.....fuckin lurker.....lol na but PATs are gonna win

there is a lot of fervor in the media about Jeremy Schockly that I want to address. are the New York Football Giants a better team without Shockly? of course you know by now he is not playing in the Super Bowl and his back-up has been more or less getting things done. Jeremy Shockly may be a bass-ackwards country-bred homosexual hating prick, but he is or rather was the motivation behind the Giants. even during practices he would holler around and tell his teammates to pick it up. during the games the spotlight would always be on him.

since his demise it seems that Eli has stepped up. I can only think that during practices, without Shockly, Eli is the pick it up guy. and now without him televised the spotlight is always on Manning. third year QBs love soaking up the spotlight - they are old enough to get over the jitters but young enough to still get properly motivated by cheese the fame brings.

any last minute predictions? if I were betting I would bet the Pats, but I am not. and I say

G-MEN - 27
PATS - 24

and TR, this is a message board. as much as I think you are a swell guy you actually have to contribute the discussion, not just voice dissent. if you don't have anything intelligent or analytical to say - please refer to the above statement about deez nuts.

doesent everybody want the Giants to win except people that are from New England?

What time is kick off??

the media says kick off is at 6 but you know how circus-like the SuperBowl can get. in my completely professional opinion kick off will not occur until exactly 6: 55.

I am about to head out to my friend's party in Somerville (part of Boston) and obnoxiously root for the G-Men. what are your plans fellow sports junkies?

and throw me some last-minute predictions.

no go on the bet w/ alisdairm, i guess. anyone else want to take the same wager ny giants v. patriots.... one week with an avatar of the opposing team for the loser?

i'll take a wager in the next 20 mins or so.

^^boring 1st half, but as you said, definitely not a blowout. Now the question is..... what will Tom Petty sing during this shitty halftime show?

Roll Another Joint- No

:)

i thought his performance was pretty good though. him and alicia keyes... not as good as the performance of the NEW YORK FOOTBALL GIANTS DEFENSIVE FRONT FOUR!!!!!

i'm trying not to have a stroke over here. i'll either be gloating or posting respect and congratulations immediately following this game....

Tom Petty was the best part of this game. What is the score about, is this freaking soccer? 2:42 in the 4th at this writing 14/10 Pats; congrats where they're due.

What is wrong with Plaxico Burress??!?!! He has missed several big plays that he should have made. I know he's playing hurt, but goddamn. I'm getting a little nervous.

As a lifelong fan I don't even care that I'm going to cover the spread on a pretty nice sized bet.
