SuperBowl: New York Football Giants VS New England Patriots

to all these people saying "pats by 21, they're gonna run em out of stadium blah blah bah", did you even watch the week 17 game? or any of the giant's post-season games?

don't get me wrong, it sure as hell won't be surprising if the pats win, but the giants D is gonna be where the game is won or lost. they played very well against romo and TO, and shut down the legendary brett favre, so i'm not hoppin on this bandwagon of "pats by a lot". shit, i think the game will go to OT and i think both teams will put on a show for the ages.

I think the only reason the G-men even led at the half was because Brady was trying to get the records out of the way. Once they were, the Pats clamped down and took back the lead for good. Plus, that was probably the worst defensive game of the season for NE, and it's back now. And, Belichick has 2 weeks to game plan. Not to say the Giants weren't good opponents, but I just don't think it will be as close as week 17.

^ did you see my post about the kicker - why do you have no confidence in gostkowski (in light of his above average kicks made/attempts number)?

The Patriots are going to win, hands down. I'm not full convinced, just yet though, that they will cover the 13 odd point spread.

Hrmmmm..... to bet or not to bet, that is the question!

ah, welcome to that smoking hole in the space time continuum known as superbowl week!

everyone prepare to have the same 4 "story lines" rammed home ad nauseum.... without lube mind you :|

Whether my team's in it or not, the Sports Media world is sickening during the 2 weeks leading up to the Super Bowl.

thankfully your team is in it.

do you know what the scoop is on Tom Brady lately? what is up with that plastic case he was wearing on his foot? also, didn't he dissappear or something. there have been lots of tabloid like rumors spread through the radio and the daily papers here in Boston.

High Ankle Sprain, happened in the San Diego game.

He appeared in Foxborough Sunday. Said he's going to be fine for the Bowl.

Giants are going to get stomped. Eli will crumble under the Pats D and Brady will come out with a completely undefeated season.

i see plaxico burress today guaranteed that the giants would win the superbowl.

i seem to recall a steelers player and a chargers player both guaranteeing wins for their teams earlier in the season...

naw he didn't guarantee a victory... he was asked to predict the outcome by a reporter and said "g-men 23 - pats 17."

should he have picked any different?

^ ap reported a "guarantee". don't shoot the messenger.

i'm not making a prediction as it's the super bowl and anything can happen (see also: superbowl 36)

i would like to see the patriots win just to anger jerryblunted even more :)

well he could've made an accurate prediction which would involve his team having fewer points in the finish;)
