Benadryl, and other antihistamines, are H1 receptor antagonists. Different effect than opiates, though they both end up being CNS depressants.
Antihistamines have been combined with many opiates to reduce itchiness and other side effects while promoting sleep and sedation.
Nothing to worry about. I do hydroxyzine along with buprenorphine in my shot, nice synergism.

I have been taking 2 mgs of suboxone for 8 days in a row at around 9 am daily. Yesterday was the 9th day taking suboxone and I took only 1 mg. I took 1 mg sublingually @ 4 pm yesterday. I plan on taking 50 mgs of oxycodone at 4 pm today, being exactly 24 hours after the 1 mg of suboxone. I know I will feel the oxycodone, but will the effects be diminished significantly? If I will feel at least 75% of the oxycodone based on the 1 mg of suboxone taken 24 hours prior I am willing to accept the 25% loss, but if others think I will lose more than 25% of the desired effects I plan on waiting an additional 12-16 hours.

1mg is a pretty low dose and at 24 hours IMO you will feel more than 75%..or atleast that. If anything just do a little bit extra.
I usually take like 2mg and I am getting high less than 12 hours later..takes a little extra more, at 1mg you can get high like 1 hour later if you wanted to(with lessened effects).

Both really, more experience with oxy I only been doin h like 6 months or less, been on oxy a long time.
24 hours after your last dose of 1mg I think most will agree oxy or h you should get you between 75%-90% high as it usually does.
It's rare that I wait a whle 24 hours after sub to start back on oxy or whatever..
Even at 4mg 12 hours later I am still able to get high, but I would say thats like 60% or something. Regardless, if it were me, I wouldn't think twice I think you'll be fine, you were on a low daily dose anyway even 2mg a day is pretty low, like I said at 1mg you could probably use 1 hour after and still get high.

I think that as soon as I feel w/d symptoms from the lack of subxone(diarrhea, hot + cold) that I will be able to feel 100% of the oxy, but as of now..... 18 hours after my 1 mg dose, I dont feel sick yet...

i agree with what you said about when you start feeling w/d's you will feel close to 100% of it, plus you'll get that lovely feeling of relief from the w/d's on top of the oxy high.. have fun.
EDIT: you probly could dose now and feel it.. but i would wait for w/d's.. you'll be glad you did.

Ok its been 20 hours and still not physically ill from not having the suboxone... hope at the 24 hour mark with a 25% increase of my normal oxycodone dose, I feel the normal effects.

You'll be good. You been on bupe for like 8-9 days so withdrawals prob wont even come on hard in 24 hours, dont mean the drug aint outta your system.
Just for example...I sniffed 1mg subutex yesterday morning at 7am, by 7pm I was getting minor chills/change in body temp, still felt ok with an appitite and all. I had only been on bupe for a few days after a little H run, if I am on it for say 10 days and level out at a low dose like that, I can wait more than 24 hr without wtihdrawal.
1mg doesnt come close to blockin all you receptors and shit..and thats while its in your system, at the point your at IMO you basically bupe free (not really but IMO as far as getting high).
I would have no reservations.
Also, don't get it in your head that the dose isn't going to be as good as usual other wise you will get that placebo affect..take my word for it, I have gotten high less than 12 hours after taking 4mg. I have no reason to make that up.

I dunno how much oxy you take daily..but if its 50mg it may have boosted your tolerance a little.
Just for reference..when I do oxy, I usually 90-160mg per dose (3 roxies at the last 2 80s at the most. like 3-4 times a day. I been usin H now too...
Anyway..subutex is what got my tolerance so high. I only use like 2-3 days a week now and it still takes me that much to get fucked up. Since I had a script I would take like 4mg -6mg a day sometimes 8mg for the first day or 2 whenever I wasnt on short-acting opiates.
For the past 2 weeks I have been trying to get my tolerance down a little, when I use opiates like oxy or H I still max out and do high doses, but I have been taking just enough subutex to feel OK. After my last little run I took 4mg the first day (coulda got by with 2mg but jumped the gun) then every day I have been sniffing 1mg in the morning and 1mg at night and bein held just fine.
My friend who does 60-120mg oxy TOTAL daily gets like 8-10 days out of one subutex I give him haha.
Anyway..mighta boosted your tolerance a little but I doubt you'll notice anything.

yep bupe will definitly keep your tolerance at the 160-200mg of oc/ 80-100mg of methadone level if you are taking more than 1mg a day. i was taking .5mg of bupe a day and i still needed at least 60mg of methadone to feel any relief for 24 hours.

Just try it out..but 9 days aint that long, You will still get high off of 50mg for sure.. Your tolerance may have one up a little, amybe youll be a LITTLE less high...
Whatever changes happened are prob minimal...I would just resume oxy like you normally do and not even think about it

No man, not nearly that much will be needed. Test to see how much to take, and start around where you left off. You'll know how much extra you need from there, and it really shouldn't be too much.

I've gotta question that I can't seem to find anywhere no matter how hard I search. Say I were taking 12mgs of sub a day. If I manage to break through with an opiate and get a buzz, when I take my next dose of bupe would I be alright or would I get stuck with precipitated withdrawals?

I had to take 1 additional percocet and felt the normal high I would get. So I would say the total effects were reduced by 25%. CaptainH was on point... thanks to CH as well as stuckinaloop!!

Make sure to be in full WD to go back on buprenorphine to avoid precipitated WD's.
