I find it somewhat disturbing if my cats or dogs are watching as well. I know they are aware of what is happening
 
under a blanket watching tv with my brother next to me, my dad 10 feet away at the computer and mum ironing in the next room... was pretty suss, LOL I was going hard at it too... Nobody noticed which was the weird part.
