I will def share a room with anyone who would like to only prob is I dont have a credit card which is why I cant reserve a room for myself. If any of the old skoolers know me I am very true to my word(and money obligations). I will be coming from Philly. Getting my Tickets this weekend.
****Makes a note Needs to call Caress to see whats up :-)

With all this talk of hotel rooms, I am starting to get concerned. I'll be visiting with 4-8 people, but we're sort of local...about an hour and a half away from Baltimore. Does anyone know if we should think about rooms or is better to just go back? I guess hotel could be fun, if there are parties going on, but I have a feeling most people will be too tired/down by the end of the event. Anyway, anyone with insight is appreciated.
Thanx :)

well where im from... the nearest parties are usually about 2 and a half hours away... hell sometimes i dont get to leave til about 10pm or so... but i usually go to the party then if theres an after party... i hit that up and drive home. once in a while ill sleep a few hours in my car in the parking lot to get a little shut eye before drivin 2 and a half hours back home... but for the most part you'd prolly be better off drivin home, but like you said.. if there's parties goin on... that'd be fun too. i think me and my crew will just be sleepin in our car after the party though.

I'm relatively local also, but am wanting to get a room. I'm sick of driving back after parties...but that's just me personally. That and the fact I would just rather not take the added risks...even if I was on an upper (which i've done several times with nothing happening). As for being too tired to party???? Buahaha. I'm always up for a party. Anyways...if anyone's interested just drop a line my way ;)

trust me.... we wont be too tired. last year there were after parties in almost everyone's hotel room... for a lot of us, the fun just started in the morning ;) you should DEFINITELY get a room. who wants to drive even an hour after a kick-ass party like that? stay and play.. a lot of us are booking our rooms for the whole weekend.
btw... i dont mean to put a sour note on this, but anyone who DOES get a room... trust who you invite back, and ask everyone who enters if they are a cop. you can never be too careful.
and dont post room #'s in this thread. use email.

I don't have my ticket yet, but I should be getting it soon...Low on funds *SiGh*
Teddy: Tech's not going as far as I know cuz he's living in Orlando right now. He just moved down not too long ago.

so who's room will i be partying in??? ;) hehe i dont think im stayin at the hotel... sleepin in the car thats right, but if anyone wants to let me party til they go to sleep, that'd be greatly appreciated :) shit, ill even let you make out with me, and im scared of girls so that'd be a rare occasion ;) and if youre a boy... ummmm... exceptions can be made???? hehehe

btw, its fairly cheap... $83/night for 2 double beds.

FYI
Got my reservations today, and either the rates have gone up or someone doesn't like me... $99, not $83.
So, rates may be going up, better reserve your room soon.

Web, yeah, somebody else emailed me that and told me too. i dont know where i got $83 from. that's what i priced it as on their website.
still, divide that by 4 or 5... .not bad at all. last years was over a 100 if i remember correctly.

There are other hotels out there that are cheaper and you get soooo much more. Check out Marriots site cause you can stay in a Residence Inn for a cheaper price and you get a queen bed, pull out sofa bed, kitchen, living room, or ever two separate bedrooms. They are priced from $89-$100. Its farther from the event but in the long run i think its worth it.

Looking at it from my standpoint:
Arrival: 3PM—check-in
Sleep: 2 hr nap
Eat: 1hr to fuel up
Dance: 'til 6 in da mornin'
Fuck/Sleep: fuckin for hours, sleepin for maybe one (1)
Depart: 12PM
The amenities are really not crucial considering the convenience of something otherwise.

Well we are making a weekend outta it. Having 4 kids or more in a small hotel room for three days sux. It was just a suggestion.

It's actually not all that bad...... I think it's a great deal. Full kitchen, living room w/sleeper sofa, two bedrooms.... all for only $89 a night. Thats not bad at all for a Marriott, which is known for outrageous rates.
I'm with Icey and crew on this one. We're coming down on Friday and checking out late on Sun afternoon. I can't wait!!
