STARSCAPE June 8th, Baltimore MD

this party made me feel like i just lost my virginity, for now im gonna go watch my video of the party, then ill go to bed, ill post my reviews and shouts when i get back on tomorrow sometime.
*note* i havent done shouts for a LONG time but theres too many people NOT to do shouts for this party.
 
I didn't think I would end up going, but a bunch of us decided to roll up there around 2a. Holy ish.. if I had paid for my entry, I would say it would have been the most wisely spent $40 ever. What a night.
 
Wow!!! What else can I say. This party basically left me speechless. Not only was the music amazing but so were the people. I got to meet alot of bluelighters this weekend along with alot of other people too. I dont even know where to start. I didnt really know what to expect here...cause the line-up didnt seem to impressive and I always heard how this party was phat. But I cant complain about one of the djs i saw. And the drum and bass tent was SICK!!!
I also think the group of kids i went with made this party even better. I went down with Teddy, Jamal, Sara, and Kev. Jamal and Kev, it was great to finally meet you guys, you are def mad chill and I cant wait to party with you guys again. And it was good to meet you again sara. As for Teddy, its always a pleasure partying with you.
As for the bluelighters i met...and there are so many of you, it was a pleasure. Im gonna name a few (but not all cause im at work and pressed for time here) Mr.Jamal, Coldshot, Sugafist, Speekah Phreekah, ryanlaughlin, Web, E-girl, Xplore, femmme fatal, Crow, Glow Worm, and everyone else (im sorry if your not in there!!!) You guys help make this experience what it was.
And finally, watching that sunrise at the end was just beautiful!!! What else could you ask for at the end of a party. The whole scene was simply beautful. Well i gotta go back to work...thanks to everyone at Ultraworld and everyone who made that party what it was, cause it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life!!! :)
 
all i gotta say is dayum! this party was sweet, unlike anything ive ever seen. vibe was great...everything was awesome. the drive sucked but it was worth it, us rhode islanders dont like to drive more than a half an hour to get anywhere.
to all the bl'ers i met, Icey, sebastians ghost, Web, aly, dags, spencer, dakeva, pixiegirl, crowe, Zjabo, aj, BKR, cloud, fizzy, meow, ryanlaughlin, and anyone else i forgot, you guys are all awesome and i hope to party with you guys again real soon.

Well, let's just say this weekend came out to be one of the best weekends of my life.
I met some of the nicest blter's, they were very welcoming. Staying at the hotel, having everyone, really close. And when we got to the party, It was so easy flowing, can't wait to get those pictures developed....
But, I really can't tell you, if I had a better time at the party or the hotel room....thanks to
Sam...who swares he woke up in a pile of hey...

It's Mon morning and I'm on my way back (stopping by friend's house in Balti). I'll post more when I get back, though I should say I've met more BLers than I thought possible and I'm surprised at all the nice, cute, and smart ppl there are. Adds a whole new dimension to the board, obviously (though I don't know if that's good or bad, cuz it furthers BL addiction). The party, of course, was amzing, but I must add that interaction with BLers during and after the party is a huge part of the whole thing (that money can't buy). Sometimes sitting at the blanket was all I needed, even if it was in the DnB area. Anyway, I'm off driving home. Damn, why am I so depressed already, it's not even Tue.
BTW, I'll keep the list running for a couple more days, just in case there's something someone wants to share that they don't want to post openly, but don't worry, I'm sure it won't be anything like the pre-party buzz.

its monday, frostyangel and i just got back, and that bi-atch beat me to this post (grrrrr ;) )
well anyways, i had a fabulous time, it was right up there with last year, and i met so many people and saw so many old faces. and i dont have work today or tomorrow, so i have time to do some shoutouts:
frosty: girl, another party, another road trip we made it without dying on the way home, and a billion more memories to tell our children about. thanks for always being the one who's not too tired/fu'd up to dance with me til the very end. even though we nearly killed each other fighting on 3 different occasions this weekend, i still luv ya.
candygrl66: my other party bud. keep making me laugh by attempting to converse with me from k-land. you rock my little world.
web: you are the shit. one of the coolest people i've ever met. glad i got to hang out with you more this year than last. someday, i will get my pink snuffer-up-agus. and someday, we'll mail you your sweatshirt, which we came home with unknowingly. thanks for keeping us gals warm without even being in the room. we owe ya one ;)
kasper: we've been to so many parties together, esp. at Motion, but this was the closest i ever got to you... heart and soul. you'll always be my favorite BLer. thanks for the sunrise, the keychain, and the memories.
dakeva: that will teach me for not remembering you. the first time i saw you guys, i told the people in my room that 2 hot guys were staying across the hall from us. the second time i came back and told them 2 cops were staying across from us. lol. at any rate, i'm glad you WEREN'T a cop. cuz you are just as brilliant to talk to in person as you are on this board.
spencer: i find that i leave every party with at least one small regret. and you're my only regret from this one. i had high hopes of spending more time with you, and never got to. and i never got to give you your present :( when i got back to my room and saw your note, i had a sinking feeling in my stomach that despite what the note said, i wouldnt get to see you again. so i'm sorry that i missed the opportunity. you were actually #1 on my list of people i couldn't wait to see :(
meow: my favorite memory of you, crazy girl, would have to be seeing you standing in that elevator with a plate full of uncooked k in your hands. you are a riot!

What an experience. This being my first Starscape, I can honestly say that this has been the best party that I have been to. Vibe there was incredible. Blers that I met were very chill. Should I say names? You think I am gonna remember not to leave anyone out? Of course not. lol. But lemme try it anyways. Great meeting: Icey (we gotta party together more often), Aby, Sebastian, Edokey, Crow, Web (the smile never leaves his face), AJ, Fizzy, Aly (tells it like it is, I dig that), Dakeva, e-girl, Shaddow, Xplore, Sugafist (I swear I have seen you somewhere b4), Ryan and Pookie and the other oHIo kidz(Can't get more chill than them), etc etc (mind drawing a blank, but you know who you all are...)
Also great seeing all those that I have met b4 such as BKR, Mella, Chrissy, Luke, Kasper, Erik (it was the facial hair that made me not recognize you at first, i swear lol), Ctrl X (Yeah Dave sux for not coming), and the others I can't name due to me drawing another blank.
Set of the night for me definitely had to be Andy C and MC GQ. This was my 2nd time seeing them being that they were at Axis a few weeks ago here in Boston. AMAZING! Sara knows I was diggin it. heh. 2nd set of the night in my opinion that I caught was J Da Flex and Oris Jay. I love dark garage. Great chillin with the crew: Teddy (what is a party w/o this man?), Kev (my partner in crime when it comes to girl watching ;) ), Jay ( very chill and very good at stringing), and Sara (hurry up we're running late for Starscape ;) )
The sunrise definitely was a great ending to an amazing party. It just hit ur eyes and sunk deep into ur soul. Next yr, probably take a plane down cuz I do agree with Coldshot, the drive did suck. (yeah I say that now, watch us drive again). Kev, ur a trooper, can't believe you did all the driving to and fro. Thanks, man. dave, you really don't know what you missed. Next year?
Shout out to Ultraworld and everyone who attended. Sounds, lights, music, and vibe all 100%. Ok done.
 
OMG the psytrance room was probably my highlight of the party! Im soo pissed i diddnt get to stay there longer the pusic was intense!!!!!! Scott Henry closed the night out well too. OMFG sittin on the blanket hearin Andy C was incredible...i regret not wondering into the tent. The funniest thing i noticed, was that all the BLers i talked to said they hated jungle...BUT PLACED ALL THE BLANKETS NEXT TO THE JUNGLE TENT. hehe. now that ive slept 12 hours i can really post my thoughts. If you want my exact word for word thoughts on the evening:

But anyways, This party was def worth 40$ and all the extreme effort I made to get there. Security was perfect, they did their jobs and diddnt bother anyone in the process. The main stage area was set up perefectly as well. I loved the big blue puppet they had 'dancing' above the stage. Shady folks were an absolute minimum. I got to meet so many people, and a lot of cool bluelight folks. Me an my boi Jae had a blast with you guys! Parking was great, the waterfront view was exhilirating. ALl the little tents for water, candy, food, drinks, massages, etc gave it a very fun and circus-like atmosphere. This was truley an amazing expierence and I feel so bad for everyone who wasnt there. Its a night im sure ill look back on in the golden years rofl. And then, they afterglow in the hotel was just as much a trip as the party was.
to all: Thanks for the night and following day. My head is still ringing, and I think it shrunk somewhat.
Xplore: man you are awesome! Thanks for chillin wit me and my friend at the party. THe night got 100x better (if that was possible) around 2am!!! You were one of the nicest people i ever met at a party.
SgtD82: wow dood we both went to another universe that night. Our little session in the parking grass right after the party sent me higher than I could've ever imagined. Damn good thing everyone waited for us at the gas station! Thanks for introducing me into a new side dish to accompany every psychadellic travel. We gotsa go bowl for bowl sometime dogg.
squeakers: Thanks for continually passing the canister my way! I hold you responsible for my inability to speak for 12 hours straight! That was a phat ass rotation we had there. See ya in the future no doubt.

So where to begin!? I’m exausted! My trip down to MD started out a little later then I planned but that was okay. I love how Web called me and was like “are you here yet?” and I’m like. “uhh, not exactly” (I was only 20 mins away from my house! LOL) I met up with a car full of kids on 95 south who were entertaining me by writing me notes. And talking to me.
I check in the hotel room and after I put my shit in my room, I go back to my car to get something from my car… and I get distracted by a familiar Canadian voice singing “I will survive” at the top of her lungs… so I peek into the lounge knowing that I found these crackheads! Kareoki was a lot of fun!.. Getting to spend quiet time with sum friends I missed :o ) Dakeva, Fizzy, Crow, Femmme, Zjabo Aly, Dags, Sticky, Web, Sgtd82 (or whatever his handle is.. hehe)… Meeting Meow & Squeeks (finally) Later on chillin with Spencer, PixieGirl, TLB, Cloud (who else showed up? LoL too many people so if I forgot u tuff ;) Meeting Amanda (batcounty – who likes to be on her back! ;) ) was the best part of the weekend!!.. hehe she was so incredible.. I was very happy to be able to spend so much time with you hun!!

Before the party I met up with a buncha blers that I cant remember all of em.. I know it will come to me eventually .. Ohio kids, and some from up here in the NE.. The party was awesome!!!!!!!.. finding everyone was a mission. The blue dancing dude(thing) on the main stage was so cool tho. I wanted to take him home!.. hehe I had fun dancing and chilling.. laying out with you guys.. hehe.. humping people! ;) I should have my pics ready tomorrow.. and I will give the email out to you guys who were there. Rob enjoyed talking to u guys.. even tho he was sad he couldn’t be there. :o ( The sunset was very nice… even tho I think I was having more fun talking all that shit, with some of “you’s”. ;) I cant really think of anything I wanted to write .. cause im tired…. Lol I will edit this and add shit tho I’m sure.. once I start to get reminded of shit that happened!!
There are so many people that I finally met that I didn’t get to chill wth tho :( Sebastian, xplore, Coldshot, Sugafist (sorry I was already in extra-tired-extra cranky Jaded mode when I met u) :( , all those kids in the parking lot,.. lol , ohio kids, tho I have sum kid jay on my video doing strings it came out really tight. :) and who ever else recognized me and said hi…
And even tho I swore I was getting eaten alive.. I don’t have any bug bites!! Yay!! :o ) NO spencer I’m not tripping.. I’m talking about actual bugs!! :P
My drive home wasn’t that bad… I did get stuck in major traffic in NJ tho.. ugh.. but I ended up next to a carload of 5 cute guys.. so after passing each other like 5 times.. one asked me for my #, and I gave it to him, screamin across 95N.. lol and he called me and we talked thru the traffic.. it was highly entertaining. :o ) and he was really cool.. so we are keeping in touch. (yeah.. I dunno I end up meeting people everywhere, in the strangest places.. and not that’s not the first time I got or gave a number on the highway… lol!)
And I give lots of love to all my favs tha ti haven’t mentioned but see and/or talk to often – pj, buzzy, kasper, mella, etcetc.
And Egirl – Amanda should be reading up on this.. but I will pass the msg on too. she is gunna get in touch with me soon :o )

As I sit back and think about the weekend--which isnt easy with a pounding headache-- I am definatly glad I made the trip! It was great to meet everyone and put a face to the names I see online.
And Starscape---what an awesome party! So much to see, so much to hear, so many memories made. It was a great experience!!

There was a party, a sunrise, and some wonderful people in my life these last three days. I am lucky that a lot of you will continue to be a part of me for years to come.
For those I met only briefly or did not get to meet: I wish I had had more time to spend with you this weekend, and I hope that your time in Maryland was as great as mine.
For those of you who know me so well: how many times will I say thank you to you guys in this lifetime? It will never be enough, you guys give me joy and beauty in countless forms. I love you with everything that is in me.

first and foremost... the drive up there, may have been long and drawn out, but man it was fun, we all share a "bond" now! haha
noticing some of the talents that some of the BL'ers have. jay, maybe ohio's different, but ive NEVER seen anyone at a party THAT good with strings.
teddy, haha the LOOK on your face dancing at the two step area when we were waiting for jay to bust out his strings... that was priceless... you looked so stupidly happy! lol
the ammount of times i ran into jon! dude, i feel like we've known each other for SO long now cause of ALL the BL'ers i met this weekend, i saw you the most.
xena walking by my car at the hotel randomly shouting out "bluelight" to see if i turned around. oh yes... i heard you. i jumped up and my head SHOT out that window to see who said it!
the head shop field trip, pookey gettin yelled at by the old guy that ran the place cause he was hitting on the girl working! "shes working!" "i was just trying to buy that sticker" haha
sebastians ghost trying to go through HIS top 10 albums of all time at the hotel. man you got hassled for some of em, did you even finish? i think we got through like... 6 or 7 haha.
all the lighters in the air when andy c started spinnin... that was quite a sight not quite as nice as the sunrise, but still... a nice sight.
