I have found using Nitrous with oxygen actually makes it better. It also solves that hypoxia thing and lets you separate a nitrous buzz from a near death experience. We use Ico soda dispensers in a loader and I drilled and tapped a 1/8" pipe hole in the bottom to feed O2 in at around 10PSI. That is a 1 liter vessel and shooting a cart in it raises it up to around 60 PSI. By the time it gets through my 0.3 micron filter the flow rate is comfortable. My wife and I typically burn through a case of 600 in a night. We are both on 5000 mcg B-12 sub lingual tabs every day and my blood tests come back OK,
As for the mini tanks, they end up being about 3x what the gas costs in a whipit (600 at a time). It makes no sense but it is true. I used to have a 20 pound tank (regulator and solenoid valves) but welding stores won't fill them anymore.
