This.... I quit everything cold turkey when I found out I was pregnant. I don't get high around my kid either. I am a stay at home mom, and when I am with my kid everything is devoted to her!

My mom drank and did coke and god knows what else while she was pregnant with me.
 
I dunnnnooo.. Guesss Ima be a bad mom if I ever get knocked up cuz ya.... Im a fucking pot-head and smoke cigs and I would drop cigs cold turkey but wouldnt stop blazen. Id just got from a couple sessions a day to maybe a joint or popper before bed

Do everyone in the world a favor and go get your tubes tied. This statement is beyond selfish and ignorant. This is why people should have to QUALIFY to have children. Your own selfish ways could possibly destroy an unborn childs life. Ridiculous.


Oh and OP: tell the GF to kick back for 9 months. It's _9_ months of her life. If she wasn't ready to be a responsible Mother she should not have gotten pregnant. If she can't re-frame from weed for 9 months WHILE pregnant only god knows what she will be doing with the child is born. Anyone that has a kid will know where I am coming from, and soon enough you both will. It may not be a for sure thing, but WHY risk the child's health? When that little one comes out in a few months she will have a whole lot of guilt if something is wrong. There should be at least a little pride in the fact you guys are creating a human life. I wish you guys the best, and really hope you buck up and do whats best for the kid.

Ahh but you see I know I am selfish at the time and I know I DO NOT want to raise children THIS IS WHY I use birth control and am responsible when it comes to NOT getting prego becuz I dont want kids, there gross, hinder my social life and will ruin my body. Why the fuck would I wanna do that?!?!? See im not as ignorant as you think. :p

Just as a Father it's hard to fathom letting my Wife smoke bud while she was pregnant.

Not sure on your age but perhaps your views change? If not, hopefully no accidents happen!

Yeah of course it is the best possible idea to not take any drugs AT ALL when pregnant. But I think taking most nsaids and stuff would be worse than weed. I never read any of the research saying that smoking marijuana while pregnant didn't show any change in the babies weight, or health in general. But my ex-girlfriend asked her dr about it when we thought it might have been an issue(pregnancy scare!) and the dr looked into it and said exactly what alot of people have said, "It is best to not do anything that could potentially put your baby at risk, but there is no evidence that smoking a little bit infrequently causes any kinda damage."

but is it really worth possible unknown future issues
 
I think people should be sterilized at birth then given some sort of evaluation when they turn 18 to see if there smart enough to procreate.
