SLR Social vs. It's on like Donkey Kong

Had a serious discussion with my boyfriend about engagements, weddings, etc. Since my coworkers keep talking about it, it's stressing me out a bit. Like I know, in general, people wait about a year after their engagement before they get married. At least I think this is standard? We luckily agree on many things (aka the ring not costing a lot... I'd want something super simple anyway). And small weddings. And 19+ event :) but no open bar. Lol it is still so far down the road for me. So weird thinking about this stuff. But we've lived together for over a year, been dating for over three years, and we do think we will get married in the future. We are both aware that things happen and we may not end up together, you never know what could happen, we're still a bit young, we'll see how things go!

On a side note, my bf is a work-a-holic these days and it's driving me crazy :P We never get a chance to really hang out. Hoping this stops sooooon! I love that he puts so much effort into his work, as I do the same, good work ethic. But I think his is bit excessive. Oh well. Hopefully it will be done in a couple weeks and we can spend more time together, besides just "Hi" and "bye" lol :P

I am very happy with my life and I have been for a couple years (I'd say a good year and a half of awesomeness anyway, but it was pretty good before that too)
So, is it supposed to go downhill soon :S

Nothing lasts forever but you can always make new memories with the new ones ;)
 
I'm almost ashamed to admit that I've recently kind of attached romantic sentiment to drum n bass and to dirty electro house in a dark musty basement room with black lights and G'ed out sketchy people.

But when you go to a bunch of d n b shows then afterhours til 8am and roll into a plasma physics conference with sunglasses on with someone as dope as Ms.G, it ends up doing that.

Well the girl is my gf now.

In other news, I'm detoxing off opiates for I think the third time in recent months. On and off, why do I do this to myself? If I'm not on a week-long H binge I'm drinking like a fish every night.

So.. I'm currently depressed as hell. I don't know how this is going to transfer over into my date tonight.
 
@noodles: Dope track!.I'm gonna grab it and put it in my library on Mixxx... Ms.G has been on a twerk and moombah binge leaving me with like no tracks to spin during my sets since I don't spin those genres.

Feeling a lot better today. I was pretty blah on the date, but I tried. It went well, I still had fun.

The w/d depression is gone today, I've been doing a lot of sleeping and recuperating. :)
