Yeah I can relate too. Too bad he couldn't get into the dance that night! Nice gesture and effort for his pleasure, when he's ready to receive. Kindof a great idea, too...keeping things interesting...
Today I got reluctantly good news for my small family. My child's biological father has been out of my life for 3 years, but when we were together we hit pharms hard, wrecklessly, and basically ruined our lives... temporarily... I recovered -- He is still running and it's a sad scene. He was on probation and I found through his county's website that he was charged with
(1 month ago)
POSS HYPO/SYRINGE/NEEDLES/1ST
EXPLOITATION/EXPOSE ORGANS (2 counts)
and holy shit, I just looked again and found that yesterday on his court date (presumably at the court house or nearby?)
POSSESS CANNABIS< 2.5 GRAMS
POSSESS DRUG PARAPHERNALIA (2 counts)
RESIST/PC OFF/CORR EMP/FRFTR (3 counts)
He's 32 and becoming less intelligent with age. His situation is so sad, but it's his choices. I will probably live to see his death: a strange feeling. We don't usually think of that. But when someone's just running hard (on anything) it comes to mind.
It's good news because this means no visitation issues, no custody issues, no concerns that he will justifiably be able to participate in his former daughter's life anymore. It's "reluctant" because his bad news being my good news seems perverted.
Socialize with that, uh.
