Skrillex? What do you guys think?

It shits me bad when people make the equation dubstep=Skrillex. I don't mind some of his stuff, but the kids (yes, I'm only 19 myself) seem to think the only thing dubstep has is "wubwubwub" bass. Gah. Plenty more stuff out there to listen to in the world of dubstep.

On Tiesto hate, Adagio for Strings and elements of life are two iconic songs for my life. Tiestio is an EXCELLENT producer.

Don't see Tiesto! Boring live performance for such a big name. Catch Galactic, then watch the Bonobo dj set (Awesome I'm sure), then Feed Me at 2:15.
 
Skrillex has a few good songs outttt. :l
it seems like he doesnt put alot of effort into perfecting them though,
hes just makin em fast as he can.

are the best songs by him imo.

I've heard mixed reviews on his live performance. I've heard some say he is good live, and some say that he was HORRIBLE live. I would guess that he isn't very good. I'll get to see the emo kid at Lolla this year so I will definitely make a report.

Turn back to audience and smoke with douchebag entourage
Sing into dead mic

He's co-headlining w/ Pretty Lights out here in Chicago and tix sold out in less time that it takes Skrillex to make a track.
 
I'll be at that show :) . I completely forgot I've seen Skrillex open for Deadmau5... he was okay. It was when he first became popular so hearing him was pretty cool since I had no idea who he was and he was badass for an opener. I'm interested to see him now when I'm not all fucked up and he has all this hype surrounding him. Personally I don't enjoy his music besides a few songs, and I don't dig his persona.
 
watch the Electric Forest videos of skrillex. It is horrible. He is so annoying talking into the mic. He was much better opening for Deadmau5 with no microphone :/

thats pretty much what a lot of DJs do.... twist knobs, look busy when really they're doing fuck all, play tunes, drink, smoke, blah blah

i dunno what all the hate against skrillex is about tbh... there are far worse people to hate against
