Those 5L kegs of Heineken Beer, brewed in Holland. The bottled Heineken doesn't come close to comparing imo. If you go for one (or more) of these mini kegs, it's important to let the contents settle before using. Clear a shelf in the fridge if need be. Once you've got the hang of the pourer, you'll be blessed with glass after glass of one of the finest beers on the planet.
A well made Bloody Mary is an old time favourite for which I've again recently developed a taste for. The order of added ingredients is vital to get the perfect taste. Also, if possible, use a long tapered glass and a non-metal stirrer
ingredients in order are:
Crushed ice + worcestershire sauce + tabasco sauce + lemon juice + cracked pepper.
Swirl around till well mixed, then add vodka and swirl again. Let settle for a few seconds before before topping up with tomato juice. a stick of celery and little umbrella are optional
BTW UnSquare: Got a bottle of 12 year Johnny Walker while on a recent trip to NZ. Drank that with a 50:50 mixture of L&P and Soda water. Magnificent!!
