Short/Long Hot/Cold Day/Night: Would YOU Describe YOUR Drink??

^ Thats three nights in a row li'l!

I havent had a beer for 2 weeks. I have drank virtually nothing in the last 3 months. UnS would not be happy with me divulging this information in his thread.

Well, the spell check said I should call you li'l. Who am I to argue with BL?
 
Public Notice to all in Sydney - Remember there won't be bottle sales tomorrow because of Good Friday*, so stock up today!

(or at least there wasn't last year... the boy and I were scattered and needed to get drunk but the cupboard was bare, so we went up to the bottlo, but alas, it weren't open. Even pubs weren't selling take-aways, and I refused to let him have a few drinks while I could have none while I was driving. It was a sad, sad day.)
 
^ I made this announcement once and Lostpunk rushed out and bought beer that night. Then we found out that Dan Murpheys was actually staying open and he had overpayed not realising he could go to Dan's the next day...

And Li'l, yes, I am saying you are an alcoholic =D
 
Just got given a $75 Liquorland voucher for my birthday by work (um it was in January bitches)

Apparently it expires after 2 years.... like it'll last the weekend
 
Mmmm.... I like wide range of drinks:

On Hot summer days I like drinking Bombay Saphire with soda water and heaps of squeeze of fresh lime juice. Sometimes I like nice bottle of white especially Verdelho's.

Lately been drinking bit of local Murdup Wines's 2007 Chardonnay Verdelho (http://www.murdupwines.com.au/tastingnotes.html) very beautiful white to have with local snapper or just on its own. :)

I love my beers...especially Coopers... love Sparkling Ale.

I love red wines, especially local Mt.Benson and Coonawarra's Cabernet Sauvignons.

Cold Nights, I love the good old cheap bottle Penfold's $10-12 port with some blue cheeses, if I feel like to treat myself, I buy a nice bottle of Armagnac or Calvados from France, they don't come cheap, but the aromas is just sooooo nice, happy to just sniff the aromas for ages. :)

I like these Trappist Monk's Belgian Ales.....puts me into nice beer induced coma. Especially these pricey Chimay's (http://www.chimay.com/) I drink these in special wine glass like beer glasses, just how belgian friends drink. ;)

Today, Got myself a easter treat instead of chocolates, brought myself today a carton of Cooper's 2007 Strong Vintage Ale (7.5%) and a bottle of Coonawarra's Rymill "Mc2" (www.rymill.com.au)... the Rymill is a interesting red, it's a blend of Cab Sav, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, very mellow red.

Mmmm... looking up... I sound like a expensive drunk.

*sips* red wine.....
 
I shouldnt b doin it .. but theres a carlton coldie been in the freezer now for bout half an hour,,,gots ma name on it but will have 2 nurse it 4 the night, hows those taps that serve that super cold minus 1.7 thermomemetor thingies @ the pubs now.thats some cool shit%)
 
having drinks and arguments with friends...can't work out whether the arguments are because of the drinks but have a feeling that it might just be because I am being a sod...

Tonite, it's pilsners, and maybe a Hobgoblin or two. Maybe a bit of either Cognac or Amarula cream, I'm undecided (haven't tried the Amarula).
 
few quite Little Creatures Pale Ales at the Queens followed by quiet Coopers Sparkling at home with same said friends as last night. Think we have all run out of puff and found mutual territory!

I have drunk about 7 red bulls since 3pm down at the espy and then some clubs in the city. Damn bars closing as if it were a sunday night ! Now Im home, awake, and watching "Order in the house" (question time in parliament !!)

Its fucking rad!!!! I love this shit on 42inches of HD radness!!!!

My ultimate drink is Smirnoff Double Black with a few slices of lemon. Yeah it sounds pretty gay I know but it's a fucking awesome drink.

Am so crushed that they're taking them off the shelves. They're all I ever drink and now I'll have to change all because some fucking teenagers can't handle their booze and do incredibly dumb things when they're drunk.
 
Haha, I was SO happy to hear that they came off the shelf AFTER I gave up drinking !!

I still woulda ordered double vodka's, just would have cost me a fuckload more

Yup. The breweries have decided that the 7% alcohol content is too high and contributes to a culture of binge drinking so they're being pulled off the shelves. I had a look around for the article but couldn't find it. It was in Saturday's Age. My brother told me about it with this stupid smirk on his face so I didn't believe him but then I went and saw it for myself and there has been something going on with the breweries and they're taking the government's lead in trying to stop public drunkness by banning beverages that are like 2 standard drinks.

(How are ya by the way? Haven't been on here in a while so it's good to see you're still kicking around :))
