Shooting Salad??? Ever heard this term?

I don't do it that often , but i think it happens most when i do some speed to keep me awake sat after a hard nights rolling friday (10pm - 7am) 4 or 5 decent pills
The last time i did it was speaking to my MOTHER.
I was in bed it was around 3pm sat afternoon, i was as far as i am aware asleep.
My Mother phones up from Spain(Bloody EX PATS) and chats to my GF for a while. she then hands me the phone.
Apprently my GF said i just kept saying distillation, distillation, distillation etc.
then my mother said must have said something like "Whats that"
and i said "The Seperation of chemicals by utilising the different boiling points or somet".
it was at this point my GF took the phone off me and spoke to my mum....
Now the thing is i have no recollection of this i think i was in a kinda lucid dream state...
Anyhow it will Teach me not to read chem books in bed on the toilet

PS. I find MDA makes me talk real shite to myself after a strong dose.. 200mg of MDA causes me to have what i call fractioned sentences where you train of thought jumps to something else...then jumps back to the old sentance (maybe only for a split second or so) but you think fuck me i must be talking shite..

In medical terminology we call this "Complete cognite dissociation" which i have seen in people who deprive the brain of sleep with stimulants and/or have body temperatures above 102deg F. Its thought that your speech center (Broca's Center) in the brain starts firing non specifically. Coupled with problems in the auditory association cortex, you basically lose inhibition of speech. Coupled with problems in Wernickie's association cortex and possibly other areas that feed into and regulat Broca's, we end up with this problem of cognitive separation (nonsense or out of place sentences). Basically... your brain has a wealth of info thats getting routed to the wrong place (speech center) which is sending it out to your speech centers and avoiding processing. The result: random thoughts in your mind get spoken!
Thanks for the scientific analysis of the "Salad Syndrome." ;)
