But you're contributing nothing to the film industry. I don't know how much of my money goes to the people who make the films (do you?) but it must be something and that's better than nothing. With non Holywood films they need as much support as they can get otherwise we'll just see nothing but mainstream drivel.

Aye there are benefits to downloading but still reckon a lovefilm subscription is great.
 
i go to the cinema and buy dvds when i want a copy of them I think that's plenty, lovefilm couldnt keep up with my appetites for film, i love having the choice of EVERY FILM IN THE WORLD EVER every time i want something to watch :)

And the hidden benefit is it will drive production costs down, and we wont get as many crappy CGI driven tosh.

If anything ,"Piracy" will hail a comeback for real movies, with real actors.

Real storylines wouldnt hurt either.
 
I have no complaints with lovefilm, the service is quick and speedy and the choice of films is incredible. Perfect for me. :)

I disagree but this will just go on and on forever and we'll still disagree at the end so let's stop now. You think downloading is better, I prefer lovefilm. End of. :)

Get your lovefilm subscription to fuck. Internet beats it in every possible way. Even with my shitty internet connection if I thought of a film I wanted to watch just now, I'd have seen it by daylight. I still owe lovefilm money actually, only ever had one DVD off the cunts. Was too much hassle to remember to post it back, then I lost it at some point.
 
Too much hassle to pop it in the envelope they provided then drop it in the post box on the way to work / shops? Fuck you're lazy. :p

Maybe im missing summat, but Evad's point might be he wants to watch a film in say 20 mins , as opposed to 3 or 4 days, or god forbid 7 days if he decided on Friday after the last post.

Drag your mind outta the " Local Hero/Wickerman" mindset Spade.
 
Yeah I understand and accept his points, they're fair enough I just have no problems with my lovefilm subscription.
 
Space half that sub goes to crap like Royal Mail anyways.

Same tossers who have presided over a 80% price increase in less than a dozen years which goes along with a daily pre 8am delivery that became a 3pm delivery.

Posting it would have been easy, it was the remembering to do it that was hard. Then the finding it. In the end it defeated me & I just cancelled the subscription & dingyed their emails. BUMPED!

i got a fucking late fee from lovefilm (was before they were called lovefilm though can't rememebr the name) apparently no late fees doesn't cover you for 2 years
infact i dont think i had a subscription that's probably what they were pissed about
