I didn't know The Running Man was Stephen King until now. Every day's a school day. Love that film. Not seen it in a long time though.

Watson - The other Che film is called Che. Part 1 & 2. I've only seen part 1, pretty good.

I'm gonna watch Taxi tonight. Never seen it before & heard it's good for a laugh. Gonna end up so stoned that the subtitles will be torture tho :\

In comparison to the number of his stories that have been adapted for film, the number that actually turned out to be good is pretty few.

Delores Claiborne (maybe)

I wasn't really referring to the quality of the adaptations of his books, as personally, I've never been able to get into his novels based on his writing style. I do however love his stories. So I'm only familiar with the films. :)

Dolores Claiborne was fookin' brilliant btw. Whaddya mean maybe?. It's one of my favourite films of all time. And on that note. :D

I've only seen a few argentinian films but the ones I have have been good

Saw Nine Queens as well, loved it, Darin is a terrific actor.

This ones not Argentinan, but its great nonetheless http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zAMlwcJchoQ

Lots of great footy/life cliches/metaphors and just an all round funny film, over the last decade or so , Latin cinema has developed a really nice, edgy feel to lots of its stuff( Sin Nombre, which I posted about last nite is also excellent).....

How can anyone hate a movie with a spanish version of a Cheap Trick classic ??

Pimping it for the 3rd time now, seems nobody else has seen it, when it wins best foreign language flick at the Oscars in a few hrs time ( unless Prophet, a far inferiour movie wins) people will be saying " oh yeah , that ones wicked "

Well it is wicked, best flick of 2009.

I've added it to my lovefilm list but it's not out for a while. Looks wicked.

It's difficult, difficult lemon difficult to stay focused on it.

What does this mean? :\

P.S.
Motorcycle Diaries is wicked as is Che Part 1 & 2. Love it!

I downloaded it earlier, have it now, fuck waiting for dvd releases

using lovefilm is contributing about the same to the film industry as illegally downloading is, your 2 month free trial is probably funding blockbusters as we speak ay?
you just don't download because you can't work it out properly

That's nonsense Evad. Downloading contributes nothing, paying to use lovefilm (which I'll be doing once this trial runs out) contributes something.

I know exactly how to download films but I choose not to. Mostly because I don't want to watch them on a laptop screen.

but you don't have to watch them on a laptop screen...
lovefilm contributions are pretty negligible, rental in general is pretty shit
you go to the cinema that's a good contribution
downloading is just superior in every way, you get films faster, you get films that haven't been released on dvd, you get foreign films that are impossible to get otherwise etc

I can get 10 dvd's for £2.20 from Lidl.
That means some studio can get the same one from China for 3 or 4 p max.

A 6 dvd set of "Heroes" can got for upto £50 in HMV, Lets do the maths.
25 p of dvd's for £50???

Someone is coining it someplace along the line.

Would the movie industry be open to just releasing avi format media? say a 2 dvd set of a complete heroes season for £10.

I think we all know the answer to that.
