yeah you'll be able to watch it in 6 months, likely with worse subtitles :\

This weekend I have mostly watched...

Anti Christ - Not sure what to make of it. Fucked up film, mostly in a good way. The hardcore shots seemed a bit unnecessary though and I'm still somewhat befuddled as to what actually happened at the end. Rather gorgeous visually though.

Avatar - Utter bilge. Had fairly high hopes cos James Cameron is quality but cowboys and blue Indians is pure shite :\

The Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans - Tickled my funny bone but not as good as I'd hoped.

The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus - looks amazing and is very Gilliamesque but felt a bit half-finished plotwise. Well worth a watch but not all I'd hoped for. Which seems to be a theme to my weekend's watching :\

Also, piracy ftw.

I thought Anti Christ was wicked but yeah the ending was a bit confusing. I think I concluded that he went mad too but it was a while ago I watched it and can't really remember. I thought the hardcore scenes fitted in really well without being OTT. I seem to remember crackhead being particularly upset that it had genital mutilation in it though, someone must have attacked his boaby with a corkscrew when he was younger.

Aye that's the reason I don't like to watch genital mutilation lol. What happened during your childhood that makes you want to watch it?

Cleets: Wouldn't be a proper Gilliam film with a fully-realised plot really - kinda his trademark :D

Spade: The gusset-typing towards the end of Anti Christ seemed appropriate but the two seconds of shagging at the beginning felt unnecessary to me. Have nothing against hardcore in non-pron but it just didn't add anything. Can't really discuss my opinion of the ending without ruining the plot unfortunately :\

genital mutilation is like broccoli ; if it's forced on you as a kid, you'll never like it as an adult.

LOL. =D

Watched OldBoy tonight, fucking cracker. A bit weird & twisted just the way I like it. <3

And Evad you were spot on, the fight scene in the corridor (assuming that's the one you were referring to) was brutal. Loved it. %)

aye that was the one like, close to perfection wasn't it? :D

It was superbly done.

It reminded me of one of those old skool 2D beat em up games like Streets of Rage, ha ha. :D

Cheers Shambles will go add them to the rental list. :)

Going to see Alice in Wonderland in 3D tomorrow. It's going to be a family outing.

Thirst is already on my list. The second suggestion is showing as a red cross though.

Ooh! Is Thirst one of his? Sweet. Have it downloaded but haven't watched it yet. Good good. Was meaning to watch the Cyborg one as well but forgot the name - downloading now. I repeat - piracy ftw <3

cyborg seems to be one that splits opinion a bit more but if you've had experience with mental illness/people with mental illness it just rings true heh
