^ That could be worth a watch later. Will stick it in the purchase queue.

I want to find somewhere to download Reindeerspotting: Escape from Santaland, a documentary about a group of lads from bumfuck nowhere in Finland who do a lot of Subutex and speed and dream about leaving that place. This is the trailer, should be good.

I've had a copy of that for ages. Not watched it though. I think I was needing subtitles or something. It shouldn't be hard to find a download, just check you PMs ;)

I watched 'Circle of 8' on Film 4 late last night, horror film. Was OK but has one of those unexplained endings where you're left to guess what has just happened. I don't mind that if it's done well but it wasn't and you couldn't really come to any sort of conclusion about what the film was all about.

Just watched that Reindeerspotting film, great film. Really enjoyed it. Serves as both an inspiration and a warning I think.

Watched Catacombs and The Tunnel recently, Catacombs is average/good, enjoyed watching it but mostly because I've always been interested in the Paris Catacombs in particular. The Tunnel you'll enjoy if you like Blair Witch/REC/Quarantine and the like, and if you find claustrophobia etc scary. If you're not a fan of the handheld horrors though give it a miss.

Thanks man(Jesusgreen too for the subtitles), I can't reply to PM as I've filled my message space or something and I'm too lazy to clear my inbox out. Safe

I'm just watching this, shit the scene where the lad is going through the Happy Meal box in the garbage bag looking for used needles wondering which ones are his, made me feel well rank.

What's a recent and good comedy for a Friday night, then? Apparently I've run out of films to watch..

^ The new American Pie - The Reunion was good.

Does anyone know where I can get the English subtitles for Reindeerspotting - Escape from Santaland. It was tonights movie but I've no subtitles. I have back ups just fancied that one.

Jack Kerouac's 'On The Road' has been made into a film. Just saw a clip for it there, hard to tell whether it'll be any good or not.

It can't be good there's Kirsten Stewart in it. On the Road is one my favourite books I'm definately not going to watch the film.

As for the guy who was asking about friday night comedies, I'd suggest:

-Our Idiot Brother
-Horrible Bosses
-Hot Tub Time Machine
-Your Highness(okay this one is dumb as fuck, but I was fucked on oxy and etiz when I watched it and found stupid but funny)

Comedies:

Mel Brooks:
Silent Movie
High Anxiety

Both utterly daft but amusing, can't remember a great deal about them but they were fine comedown material at the weekend.

I love films set in prison, whether its a Uk, US prison or wherever.
I watched one earlier today. Its called 'Cell 211'. Its a Spanish film & is set in a Spanish prison. Very good film I thought my mate didn't like it but that's only because he hates having to read subtitles.
I'm hoping to watch 'Ill Manors' tomorrow. The new one by Plan B.

About to watch the latest Harold and Kumar "movie"

I know its not highbrow, but I am easily pleased, especially with 4 bottles of Tyskie and some decent weed to hand =D

Eh, what about Into The Wild?

Aha, cheers! I love Hot Tub Time Machine, will check out the rest at some point.. :D

'1408' with John Cusack and Samuel L Jackson (the director's cut, as shown in British cinemas - the ending's very dark, and focus-grouped badly in the US, so they re-shot a happy ending). It's an adaptation of a pretty weak short story by Stephen King - but the screenplay really picked up the central idea and ran with it. Classic case of a weak piece of prose adapating into an excellent film. Very good film to watch stoned: genuinely chilling, quite subtle for a mainstream Hollywood release, and though it's mostly a Cusack one-hander as he struggles to escape a haunted hotel room, there's an early confrontation between Cusack and Jackson that's a true acting masterclass.
