I saw Drive the other day, liked it a lot, very heavy-handed use of music but apart from that I found no fault with it.

About to watch Dirty Harry and Magnum Force, it's been too long. Was reminded of them when they came up in Pointless this afternoon.

cheers for the tip on cargo knock, lovely atmospherics like you say and however the predictable and sometimes german nature of the film marred it slightly. But it was still a belter.

I can only watch films on weed or benzos these days. Booze and I pass out, smack and I nod out and anything stimulating means I can't settle in the film. I commend you sir<3

Keep the tips coming people!

And also I'm looking for freight hopping / hobo films. There are a few knocking about and loads of small clips but your help and info would be greatly appreciated:D

Into The Wild.

And people saying Love Film has every film. Sadly, it doesnt as there's one major ommision. Theyve had a dispute with Universal Pictures, so they dont stock any of their movies atall. Gets frustrating as quite a few Universal movies have had great reviews.

Into the wild is very good

Is that the film where a stupid selfish spoilt brat leaves his loving and caring family for no particular reason? I think the worst part of it is the main characters continuous need to show the audience how deep and profound he is, when he is as deep as a puddle. There is only one good part in the whole film and that's the end.

any one seen the house i live in? docufilm about the drugs war. twas reviewed on film 2012 last night. winkleman and the bloke said they would be signing petitions on the internet after watching it 8o

i want to see it, but i don't know where it'll be on or when..doesn't look like a general release sort of film...one of those films you have to be organised to see

I can finally agree on something with you. Spot on. A whole film about some douchebag student twat who has to "find himself" out in the wild, well guess what you hippie dickhead, nature is not a friendly environment.

I hope others caught Sleuth the other night.
Maaannnnnn was that fucking brilliant!

It's completely different from the '72 adaptation - in which Michael Caine played the role that Jude Law plays in this one - and it was instead created from the original play rather than be a remake of the first adapt.
It's also utterly amazing for so many reasons - Brilliant acting, brilliant set, brilliant tone, mood, dialogue, soundtrack... Just awesome.
I must recommend it whole-heartedly! <3

I dont know. I reckon natures a lot friendlier than many of the cities people live in. Amazing how many people think the films hero was a twat. Narh he was a proper deep hippy with a charismatic presence. Nothing wrong with that. Might be a bit much though if you had him as work partner day in day out though.

Was reading about that t'other day. Supposed to be a belter. Downloaded it from a torrent site but wouldn't play on VLC and Windows Media said it need to update to a new codec to play it which sounded a bit iffy so I've not watched it yet. Does sound good though so will be keeping an eye out for another copy.
