IME, Seroquel, Trazadone, and Clonidine (sic?) are all great for "knocking you out". The 1st two should be taken 45 mins before you wish to fall asleep and Clonidine should be taken just 10 mins before sleep. HOWEVER, all 3 drugs give a rather nasty hang-over, leaving me lethargic for hours after waking up, that is why I would recommend Klonopin (clonazepam) and/or Ambien (zolpidem)
Clonazepam taken 1 hour before you wish to fall asleep is very effective, and there is little to no hang-over or other side effects. Zolpidem taken 5 minutes before sleep is also very effective and also has no side effects (at least for me, there are many reports of sleep walking, driving and eating while on Zolpidem so watch out)
Note: both clonazepam and zolpidem are addictive and have a high abuse liability
