review for album as on Saiko Sounds (typos are as on the site, not mine! hehe):

Liquid Phase is one of Spliff Music exclusive artists , in ￾gTrance Action￾h he got closer to the psychedelic fullon scene , where he feels more at home , according to him . After the release of ￾gLiquid Phase - Africa￾h , yaniv got more familiar with the trance world , in that following year , he perform live in : Germany, Switzerland , Portugal , Mexico , Israel , India , Russia, & more to come. He also got some interviews on prime web sites & magazine such as Mushroom magazine , Antiworld UK , BEAT magazine AU . yaniv tunes was played in some big radio￾fs & he even got a special show on the web most wanted electronic station DI .￾gTrance Action￾h is Yaniv￾fs , aka Liquid Phase 2nd long play solo album .TRANCE is a Hypnotic , Cataleptic or even Ecstatic state. it detaches from one￾fs physical surroundings , as in contemplation or day dreaming . Daze or a place between sleeping & waking . Add an ACTION to that & basically that￾fs the concept of this Album .Liquid Phase is on of Spliff Music unique artists , he￾fs first album ￾gAfrica￾h got some warm feedbacks from a various locations worldwide . ￾gLiquid Phase - Trance Action￾h is more Israeli style psy fullon , with rolling baselines , massive kicks , sweeping pads , high quality production , cutting edge effects , uplifting melodies & most of all non stop groove .In ￾gTrance Action￾h , Liquid Phase shows us a total different perspective to he￾fs fullon world , nothing more to say but : ￾gEnjoy the Ride￾h .

OK... My brain and body are ready for a recharge... goodnight! :)

Thanks Ultra, muchos apreciated. The album, Trance Action is good, very much Israeli full-on, all staccatos, stop-start, weird fills, same beats in every song and some gay samples. Whilst I like it, its like a generic trance record. Give me BUS anytime, rocking that before I try to force my lazy body to Far-Jing tonight. wHERE ARE THE MUSHROOMS AT? Hooray, season starting, much fungus shall be imbibed I believe.

^ hehe... mmm-hmm ah yes... my friend should be sending me MMS pics on her little hunting expedictions over in Vic soon I imagine! ;)

I've kinda gone quiet as far as the psy goes lately... there's some stuff on this weekend over here but I have a birthday to go to...

In terms of music there's still quite a lot I want... but I'm leaning towards giving a site like Trackitdown a bit of a whirl... as there's so many tracks I want but they're all on different CDs... like there's a track by Beat Bizarre that I recently kinda fell in love with from one of those Gnometone sets... I think the track is called "Pests for Pets"... :)

Azax Syndrome - "Evolution"

Best full on i've heard this year

Agreed. I didn't think music could get so bad. How they have fallen. 8(

On brighter note, this is what I call psychedelic...=D

I'll give you that. At least its different. I hate the way when, if people deviate from the norM of a genre ie. doofdoofdoofdoof, squealch, rolling bass, staccato and gating and become poluplar their dilsiked. I think this album is great because it combines a lot of styles. Beware of pre-judgments!!! Heavyweight is a great metal track though

Though for 'real' tranceout psy I'm still loving BUS- Morebussinesslinkyouthere. I would say thats as enjoyable in a more braintickling way then the power trance of Infected mushroom.

What are Salakalava (sp?) like, I was think of grabbing their Fractoid (or somethign CD)? I think i've heard a song on a suomi comp but I can't remember.

i bought it :) however i do agree that some of the other material on that album sounds oddly clubby.

i'm also digging Tranan - "Preacher Boy" (Silicon Sound Remix) - [Turbo Trance]
it's more trance than psy in my opinion, but i think it will make good outdoor music.

^^^^Definitely clubby music thoguh it is dance music, and it certianly fits the bill. Seeing them live tommorow night which should be cool, unfortuntaely its in one of Melbournes danker venues- last time I saw IM there I walked out b4 they even played due to the claustrophibc nature of a sweaty humid fuckedoutpeople club. I nwanna see them out doors with dirt to stamp

i dig Silicon Sound... his remix of 'Nexus 6' from a few years ago is just a superb piece of powerful melodic psytrance.

Tranan is wicked as well - i have his album 'Restarter' - he was also a member of Logic Bomb.

which is funny because i was just coming on to post how much i'm enjoying older Logic Bomb at the moment :D 'Neighbour of The Beast' = classic, classic kif tune...

What artists would you say are the "norm" though? Psy trance is such a diverse genre anyway, there is no norm. Plenty of acts manage to make engaging music that's completely different yet remains psychedelic. Infected just can't do that, in my opinion...

The norm- typical israel stuff. I can't be more specific, I thinkmI've divided psy genres up in my own way:) IMO, some of the sounds on Vicious Delicious are both psychedelic and dancey-nice mix i reckon.

Mr Peculiar- Infinite Evolution, just got it, its fucking mad, melodic, Australian, powerful.

Spectra is a great tune. :)

Wow I have never heard of spoonbill before, but it is certainly love at first listen. Its so wacky that its awesome.

Anyway I discovered Echotek the other day and I'm totally loving the shit this guy puts out. Definitely check it out

turkeyphant, did you go to Procs / Wizack / GOW? looked like a seriously good party, but Procs indoor? how was it?

some of the Echotek i've heard is pretty lush. Mr Peculiar is a legend, his latest track also out on the new liquid recs comp...
