Nice track. It was recorded in Asbury Park. That's where I moved from. The instrumentation reminds me of the music of Dirty Three.

I would say go for it man, I was seriously surprised by the strong anxiolysis effect. Even at lower doses it, for me at least gives a serene sense of perpetual calm. Of course it ends but it's very similar to GHB in that light. At lower doses, for me again, it's really not bad in terms of lethargy. I'm an odd one though, give me pretty much any sedative and I fucking crave activity and I'm the sort that can slam things in high quantity and still have fairly perfect balance as well as clear speech. As for activities I just do some what simple things like walking a few miles, going to metro parks and hiking in the forest. I also just do general exercise like push ups, sit ups, planks, jumping jacks to get things flowing, and yoga/etc. Its rare that I just sit around , though with my injury it's much more common unfortunately. Hoping to change that though! I pretty much love moving around on dem sedatives even if it's just walking the dog or cleaning up. I've been on pregabalin for a few months sporadically. It's cool in certain ways because it's kind of abuse proof. Take a few high doses and the GHB dizziness disappears. The good effects are still there though and take a short break and it's back!

Its awesome how alike we all are. I REALLY value my alone time. Don't get me wrong if a friend I'm really tight with wants to hang out all the time it's cool by me, but I just do good alone. Look at the quote in my profile, haha! ;)

I'm really digging the high traffic this thread is receiving! Reminds of the good ol' days! You guys with all the ethanol talk made me crave some so I'm getting light up. I wish I had some MXE though, one fair IM shot of it and it feels like my legs are in perfect condition and I can do almost anything! Plus this old school vendor had absolutely stellar MXE, very potent. Plus MXE is just generally awesome. It would go perfect with the 6- APDB I have!
 
It is popping in here. I haven't visiting this thread in a while really.

But your post just made me thirsty for GHB. I don't even need to chase it down with anything. I love it so much that I appreciate the taste of it.

i know man, its so nice to have the good ol' PD social back

and i agree, some GHB would be incredible right now. i miss having a solid dose after rolling balls, maybe a bump or two of ket thrown in on top. so lush
 
Aside from the obvious sadness that comes with it.. What do you guys think of the way Bluelight looks in its black attire? My girlfriend and fellow BL staff stardust.hero spent a couple nights working on it.

I got some old King Crimson vinyls as well haha. I need to get my record player fixed unfortunately. It plays too fast.

their music ranges from nice and pretty like that, to very noisy and dissonant. some consider King Crimson to be the godfathers of modern progressive metal/rock. The Mars Volta directly lifted some of their guitar parts from old King Crimson tracks.... the only example that comes to mind is the middle section of The Mars Volta's "Take The Veil, Cerpin Taxt" was directly copied from King Crimson's "Fracture"

which albums do you guys have on vinyl? :)


double edit ----- i didn't click play on this video before i embedded it. turns out it was one of my favorite 70s era songs but played by crappy 80s era king crimson. removed. =p
 
I'm not too concerned about looks. The effect is prominent; it causes rememberance. As soon as it turns black I remember those lost immediately. Her work is effective.

Something that gets under my skin is how car accidents are blamed on weather conditions; um no; it's speed, lack of skill, and negligence.
 
bluelight is appearing in the regular old colors for me. i know its supposed to be blacklight for qwe, though (RIP =/)

maybe i've gotta clear my browser cache, idk.

It's actually black for an older member who died 13 years ago named Quicksilver, but it's also to commemorate every deceased Bluelighter.


I have a decent vinyl collection. I'm always picking up first edition and limited editions of vinyls that my favorite bands put out. I have some really awesome rare of Montreal vinyl. And I'm pretty friendly with them so whenever I get a rare find of a vinyl I can get them to sign it.

my vinyl habit got prohibitively expensive, i had to back off on it for a while

nowadays i just look for deals in the bargain bin at the local used book store

Did it for me, too. Wasn't the most responsible thing to do, low on funds and all, but I indulged myself on some Old Rasputin and Celebrator. Got a bottle of North Coast's Old Stock chilling in the fridge right now. Might save it for tomorrow, might not. ;)

Yup I had to slow down on that hoard.

I like to pick books out from Thrift stores because they're so fucking cheap. If it's a book I need to read and own that I most likely won't find at a goodwill or salvation army I go to the amazon used section.
