its not the snow that i hate, so much as the cold. i thrive on taking long walks, but its outright dangerous to take long walks when it is 0 degrees F outside... =/

Dangerous? Bollocks. Just bundle up. -18C is cold but not unbearable. I often harvest wood for a whole afternoon in that. -30C with -42C windchill (had it a few times this year); agreed; don't spend more time outside than necessary. I've gone snowboarding in -25 a few times. Whenever I go I have no square centimeter of skin exposed. Neck warmer pulled over my nose, goggles resting on top of it.

It actually amazes me how ski racers go down at 140 kph with just goggles and helmet without a massive beard. My face would be ice.

i do need better cold weather gear.... in the stuff i currently have (two layers on my legs, three or four layers on my torso, hat, beard, and scarf...) if i walk outside for an hour or two my skin will be bright red and painful to touch when i come back inside.

perhaps i have poor circulation, idk. it definitely does not feel healthy to me to be outside for very long at these temperatures, though.

Yeah I wouldn't like going out without being geared up. Snowpants are essential, as are good boots. When snowboarding I wear two layers of socks under my thick snowboard boots and after a while my feet will still end up being chilly.

I've got shitty circulation too. Numb toes are part of my winter life. That part sucks but the alternative is worse IME.

2-FA is generally more functional like limited doses of dexamph (in comparison more purely dopaminergic) while 4-FA is generally more euphoric like clearheaded pseudo rolling (in comparison more mixed monoamine activity / or you could say a bit more serotonergic than 2-FA). Putting a meth on it just jacks the effects up a bit and IME lend it a characteristic N-methylated 'empathophen' body buzz. I'd say this makes it more recreational and less functional.

I found 2-FA a bit disappointing and lacking, even adding to the dosage failed to get me 'there'. If I would dose too high on it, it's probably because of that.

I found the converse. Before my doses became unreflective of low dose character I found 2-FA to feel more unrefined and speedier than 2-FMA which felt very clean.

d-methamp is known for being less peripheral than d-amp; hence why Desoxyn is on a higher level.

Awesome guys, thanks for the info. I don't ever venture into OD or ED so I figured my best shot to get an idea would be here at home in PD. Not sure if I'll purchase any but I gotta figure out what sample I want.

How do you guys feel about the euphoria between the APD series and the FA/FMA compounds. I don't roll very often and like the clean buzz of strong cocaine or amp better usually, but I haven't dabbled in empathogenic regularly since I was in highschool.

In my opinion 2-fma is the winner for functionality. and 4-fa is the winner for recreation.
2-fa was hard for me to even feel, maybe it was a crummy batch. 4-fma provided me with the worst comedown I've ever experienced in my entire life time. I would never touch it again. Although the high was more intense than 4-fa.

I guess it's because like Psox I can bear the cold well, always have been able to. Not to mention I have excellent cold weather gear my dad left me. Do you have seasonal depression Lakia? I had a friend who couldn't stand the constant changing and would get rapidly depressed come winter. It's like he would hibernate, he wouldn't take calls and would sleep most of the days away. I admit snow gets old sometimes but where I'm at it's not to bad.

I agree Night, pregabalin is pretty awesome, erases my nerve pain, and relives my anxiety very well as well my insomnia. Not to mention it's awesome GHB esque intoxication.

The nerve damage is from an accident I had where both my legs lost circulation for some time as well as causing the beginning stages of rhambo which you comically enough recently posted about. My leg muscles began to enter a catabolic state resulting in muscle loss and other factors compressed my leg nerves resulting in nerve pain. It's all good though in certain terms things won't really get much better as it's been a year and a half and nerve damage begins to become fairly permanent at that stage. Really though since I have the backing of pregabalin , I'm just going to destroy my body with exercise. At the end of the day it ain't no thing but a bloody road block, I'm just gonna do the best I bloody can and keep on keepin' on!

Hope everyone's doin' mighty fine! <3 ( wish I was near the computer to help you out with a comparison, Thaentheo! Surely one of the masters in this thread will come to aid you! ;)).

Coincidentally today I proposed pregabalin to my shrink as a primary candidate for prescription in case I fail at managing my anxiety and insomnia and related symptoms without a lot of self-medicating with serious anxiolytics such as benzo's.

What effects on exercise / sport / working out would you say pregabalin has? Just to clarify I have used it and gabapentin veery sporadically years in the past, once to alleviate GHB withdrawals when I cold turkey'd that and a number of times for recreation. In latter cases the fairly big doses instilled me with what I can only describe as mild catatonia. Overall that was pleasant, but also a little weird.

How long have you been taking it?

.

Not diagnosed, but probably. The way you described your friend was exactly what I did every winter. And then it would put a hinder on my summer as well because it brought about mixed feeling to friends for staying out of touch over the winter. I had to get away from it.

i get like that in the winters... hibernating and not taking calls.... the sad thing is, after enough winters of not taking calls, they quit calling you in the summers too. =/

The real friends understand. The acquaintances probably barely remember me by now, because I sure as hell don't think of them.

I was going to say; no matter how long I hibernate and don't see friends we always get together again.

I used to get seasonal depression a lot worse than I do now. To the point that spring always felt like a rebirth and I would be so naturally high for a couple weeks.

These olympics are making me jones something fierce for a trip to a ski hill. I'm going to do it in the next few weeks for sure. The best cure for seasonal depression is to use the conditions for recreation.

i'm also kind of a recluse. its not that i don't like people, its just that i feel better when they're not around

nowadays i really only make the effort to see my lady friends, for obvious reasons
