P&S Alternative Theories thread v. orange tang

Ashtar is meant to be the general commander, but Jesus the supreme commander of all. So that's a bit reassuring. At least you know he has humanity's best interest at heart.

Jesus is only supposed to return to us in the flesh after Christ consciousness has been born in all of our heart's, though. That is the real meaning of his return and seems like it's a long way off, but they claim a lot of progress has been made at least subconsciously by now. So humanity are more ready for it, I guess they mean.

According to the current channels, Obama also has weekly meetings with both Ashtar and Jesus, and is being kept in the loop of it all.

....I should go pluck my eye out? ....

Religion is so fucked. I can accept this world as an illusion, but it doesn't have to be a nightmare.

Just thought someone should pick up on this: i thought 'if thine eye offends thee, pluck it out' was one of the better phrases from the bible - it's certainly not advocating self-administered corporal punishment, it's saying if what you're seeing really offends you and drives you to anger, it's often the seer's problem not the seen (i think) - i certainly use it this way.

And some interesting stuff about gnostic type ideas, but they were just one of many different variations. I see gnostic 'matter/spirit=evil/good' ideas as having some similarity to buddhist ideas of desire/suffering and nirvana, which can seem bleak or optimistic depending on emphasis (eg schopenhaur always seemed a bit depressing, while mahyana buddhism quite jolly in comparison)

I tend to think religion as a set of ideas has as many or more nice bits than nasty bits overall ('organised' religion maybe different...)

Don't need to read any dodgy websites. Before Christianity came along my city would perform public sacrifices to Baal and Odin. It was called "Blot" and even the sites are well known. The area was very resistant towards being Christianised. The old Viking culture was very primitive and savage and not known for compassion.

The Vikings didn't worship Baal. Wrong continent, dude.

Ok, I'll try and do this without swearing.

Jesus F Christ.

They do sound insane. They say they will take us into ascencion chambers and have us restored to perfect youth and health and higher vibrationally 5th dimensional consciousnesses. But not everyone will be taken at the same time. The ones who go first will come back to teach the others. And St. Germain's Prosperity fund will be distributed so everyone will be wealthy.

The hatred towards Jesus is a resistance to yourself moving onto higher consciousness. I should know, I've had many telepathic conversations with Christ during withdrawals and near-death experiences. Have I ever won a discussion? No.

How about....having a 'telepathic' conversation with 'Christ' when you're at the top of your game? Instead of when you're feeling shite?

Just an idea....

According to the Bible (it seems) he is to come to judge us. Are they wrong, and some UFO religion dreamt of in the 40s or 50s right? How else to interpret this?

I'm sorry, but I'm not buying some other fellow's dream. I've had my own. I've had experiences. I'm close with "Christ", like... my first girlfriend in life being named Kristin and being born on my birthday, along with other things. I'll tell us we should love, and be in love, and that if I did come to judge, I am being judged along with it. I won't say "its gonna happen". I can't even say I know what is going on, now, precisely-absolutely, and I can't trust someone who is so sure of themselves, in such matters.

^Hey now. I was editing. I added Islam... And didn't edit everything I was supposed to.

Thanks for the reply on that. I know of this interpretation, but your wording is easier to digest. Still, it didn't stop some men from actually doing these things, and I kind of find it irresponsible of Jesus not to be a little more "real", in this regard, if he didn't mean it so literally. But, I read more, and I guess "Hebrews, like others, were accustomed to represent the affections of the mind, with body parts" (http://www.godvine.com/bible/matthew/5-29/). I guess he didn't know how some might take it. It's just hard to accept this Jesus as both God and man, with the fullness of both, as infallible (The God part), but I guess I know well how mistakes have not been mistakes.

Have you thought about seeing a doctor to get a diagnosis for your schizophrenic symptoms?

^ Ninae: you're not mixing it up with beltane festival are you? (which i think some people connect to baal) - it's the 'tane' in beltane that means fire (like 'tan' in welsh). As far as i remember, Baal can mean 'Lord' (as in Baal-zebob (beelzebub): The lord of the flies).

@what23: to be honest i've never heard anyone interpret that phrase in any other way than i did (maybe they mashed it up with an 'eye for an eye' or something)

(when i say it i add a bit of colour: 'if thine eye offends thee, pluck it out...and then pluck off, you plucker')

I think you meant to say extremely developed, intelligent and functional, didn't you?
