kmas982. Hey thanks for the pics... but there are about
3 that needs to be removed RIGHT NOW!!!!!! There are certain "things" that should not be on a public web site.
KEEPIN IT UNDAGROUND!!!check ya pm bro. LOL~ It was good to finally meet ya!!!

I had a great time, and was glad to see everyone out there.. yes the hot weather and humidity did keep a lot inside, but the vibe was awsome. Sorry for the generator issues, im not sure exactly why they blew, but i did bring my 1850 generator for back up (had a long trek~12 hrs and a flat tire, but i made it) which was greatly utilized first thing SAT am. Next time im not forgetting my kiddy pool. I hope everyone enjoyed there stay. We put a lot of hard work into this event... It was 100% for the love and we'll do it again!!! See ya IN OCT??
..;)

This was my first outdoor....I didn't have a very good time, but it really didn't have anything to do with the actual party. Shit just happens. Anyway, I'm pretty sure that this was my last party.

i had as good of a time as i think could have been had at that event. i spun at 6:30am on the main stage on Saturday morning and while there was only a dozen or so people listening (that i could see, everyone else was hanging out by their tents), it was still a blessing to be able to play some of my favorite techno & trance classics under the rising sun. it was a beautiful venue and i was in the best place to be, doing what i love to do. to those that know me, it may be pretty surprising to hear that i played even one trance track, but i have some classic favorites from the early 90's, and what better place to play them that at sunrise outside? :)

i'm glad the URU soundsystem survived the weekend (big ups to Shinma and Jimme Cathexis for keeping it alive) and it was fun sharing a smoke with Jeremiah and Kaz up on stage while Orbital's "Halcyon" played out all 12 minutes of its supreme sonic bliss. Thank you to Kellay and Ryan Mack for the herbal hospitality and cold drinks!

I really wish that more folks had come to this, as my main motivation in playing this was to hang out w/ all my scene buddies from around ohio, and most of them didn't show up. However, Simone and I had a great time lounging out and chatting with Rob Rage & his friend in their van, early that morning after my set. Shinma's set was playing in the background and it was soooo tight. :) We all went to this trashy little diner for breakfast on the way back to Cbus, and all these old-ass crackers kept staring at us. Aaron (Glasshopper) where were you Friday night / Sat morning, man?

comment about attendance

much love to those of you who came out to support the scene, music, favorite dj and SAE for bringing you the best in outdoor events. however it is becoming difficult to provide the scene with high quality exspensive events if people for whatever reason do not come out and support. PLEASE SUPPORT OUR SCENE! COME TO EVENTS WITH A SMILE TO MAKE IT POSSIBLE FOR US AND OTHER COMPANIES TO CONTINUE THROWING QUALITY EVENTS! thanks, jason. peace;)

Thanks!

DJs Mark Alan and Neil Jaye along with Level Line Media and IOC Productions would like to thank everyone who made this event possible. Massive respect to Scitek for giving us the opportunity to DJ, Flash Gossamer, Tim, Robert, the SAE crew and all the other production teams who put this weekend together! Also a big thanks to everyone who listened to our sets "up on the hill" Saturday night. We really appreciate the support. Please come and check us out at "A Tribute to 9/11" from Subzero Productions (Shan Tran and crew). Info for this event is on another bluelight thread.

Thanks Again!!!

i also want to add a very special thanks to Jimmy and the URU crew! you were a major help for this event and things wouldnt have turned out as well with out you! thanks again and mad respect for the support that you always have for us. if you need it and we got, its yours!

you guys should throw a benefit show to help Jimmy fix up his gear. it's taken a beating doing all these parties! i can't think of a better way to give back to the scene these days than that. =D

I was dissappointed in the low attendance but had a good time anyway. Good to see everybody who came out. Until next time...

our party in oct is a benefit party to make the money back we lost on CS4 thanks though for the good idea. if anyone has a cheap indoor venue that would allow us to make some money for jimmys eq we will be more than happy to return the favor this winter. peace

Where was everyone this past weekend? This was a good opportunity to get outside and enjoy the last of summer if nothing else. Jessica and I want to thank Heidi for letting us borrow her generator for the renegade sound we had in the "bomb shelter".... lol. We had fun chillin w/ the people who spun in our little shelter and joining forces to avoid the rain.

Don't forget the impressionable newbies and try to keep the shit on the dl a little more.

important announcment!

SOFA, october 22nd and 23rd
this is a recovery as well as a benefit event.

the idea is that it will be an outdoor event, i know it may be slightly chilly, but i think that it will be better to be kool and wear a hoodie and have to stay warm by dancing then to be hot, sticky, and surrounded by bugs. we will have fires and heaters if need be. also you may be wondering what SOFA means? one of our close friends that you may remember that likes to bring an elaborate setup of sofa's, tables, and awnings has an idea about throwing an event called SOFA and bringing out a bunch of couches and sofas vice picnic tables. i know your probably thinking, why would i want to provide a soft, warm place for people to sit when they could be dancing?
i think its kool, how bout you? the recovery/ benefit part is to help ourselves to get back on our feet after losing a considerable amount of money on CS4. also a good friend that always helps us out has suffered some loss so everything we make over what we lost we will be giving to him to help buy new equipment. this will be a budgeted event but will be nothing less than what you would normally expect from SAE!;)

did anyone see the broken fence at the bottom of the hill on "patton hill"??? hahaahhaha~off road, on fence woooo!
