well, i think everyone was spread out throughout the area. At times it was as if there were a lot of people there, and then in a minute they were gone.
The venue was great. Nice and cozy woods in the middle of stickville. The trail of lights in the campsight and the glowstick trail to the dome were good ideas.
All 3 areas were nice in their own way. Although very spread apart, they all had their own niche.
The hill, if you chose to get up there, was alright. I think that because it was in fact on top of a hill, people were not too motivated to go up there and check it out. What a beautiful view of the stage from the top though.
The Stage was the main area. Very nice. Big and spacious.
The dome was creative, but with genorator probs all throughout the night.
Lineups were changed on the fly and you had to track down your DJs you wanted to see.
Billy B had a good set going til the power failed him. Damn.
Bagel and RA were killer DnB set on the Stage. Killer.
Infinite Grey had a set going, but it seemed he was limited due to equipment failures and such.
I apologize if I get the names wrong (it was dark as night there), but from 230-430 at the stage was Pat BLaze and Lemon Lyman?????? Fuckin' bringin' the house!!!!! Being that Friday had a heavy DnB lineup, When they brought the house, they brought the house!!! Nice Job.
Oxygen bar was interesting, Ill try anything once. Super nice people running that thing too.
Vendors all seemed cool, even the couple of locals that stumbled up there (cooter and lester).
Met Stick667, who busted his fucking ass to get this done!!! Dude had an image of a different kind of theme and did a great job. Theres nothing like a promoter that will take 10 min out running his event to talk to you. Hope all goes well for you once it is said and done.
THe bad thing, and there always has to be a couple right. The vibe was there, it was just hiding in the tents. People were there, just in the woods. The crowd was aweful (from a dancing view). THe entire night if you had 20 at a stage, you had maximum capacity. With a huge venue like this it seems that most people chilled at the tents and used the music as background. The areas should have been packed!
If you did not take the time to hear these DJs you missed out. Bagel and Ra tore it up to 500,000 blades of grass. Me and my boy were the only ones there at times. All the Djs spun well (you always get a little train wreck sometimes). In case it slipped past anyone, there were great sounds coming out of all the speakers. Dance party first, campout second.
Anyway, great job to Stick667 on making this come together.
Great job to all the DJs that spun for noone.
Great job to hillbillys throught the world that have areas like this for every occasion.
Bad job to the people that were forgot there was music there.
Great job to all those that danced!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
keep bouncin'
