It's a shame i had to rearrange my schedule to spin on thursday or else i wouldn't have missed that. I Came out and spun on thursday for about an hour 1/2 sometime around 4 am(?) i thought it was a beautiful spot also, and was sorry i couldn't make it back out to see all the people i wanted too, as i understand people were killing it all over the place. (I'm looking in your direction Shinma.hit me up killa). Jere, I'll be @ your October event with copies of Arkives Eight for those who need a fix. So hit me up !!

Well I dont know if I should respond in this thread or not... as my "review" isn't entirely positive.

SAE - LIke I told you, thanks for having me out. But If ya'll throw another event like that... you'll never have me out again.

For one, if your going to throw a party, take care of your kids... STAY put at the party, and at least if your making us pay, have ppl running the doors so ppl can't just come in for free. It really pisses me off I have to pay, when for a whole day ppl were just walking in. But hey, fuck it... it's only money right?

Also, how much did you spend out of your own pockets to throw this event? Cuz you made it sound like you lost a fortune, and spent a fortune, "BUT" after talking to the guy who owns the land... and doing the math myself. It doesn't nearly add up to what you say you spent. I dont doubt you lost out, as their were maybe 200 ppl there the whole weekend. But you and I both know... you did not spend upwords of 10,000 bones like you say you did. Nor 7,500.

Dj Meghan, I loved that psytrance set, even though main-stage was drowning it out. Also, thanks for passing out "free" c.d.'s. That's pimp shit!

Dj Skillz... you are the bomb yo. Can't wait to actually hear you spin live. Also, get ahold of me. I want to book you for an event I'm throwing next summer. I think you have lot's of VIBE that needs to be present.

The whole ride up there, I was thinking how nice it was to meet some kool kidz, who shared the love. Anyhooters... venue was really pretty to look at when the sun was almost breaking... really magnificent.

SOmeone spoke of a "vibe"... ? *lol* ya'll felt a vibe? Cuz I sure as fuck didn't notice one. If you meant the fact there were lots of good pills, and some dank ass weed... yeah... great vibe from the mary jane. No vibe from the party jane.

I learned a great deal of respect for SCARAB RECORDS, HOUSE OF BABALYON, and even Double E *OUT OF INDIANAPOLIS* Ya'll treated us DAMN good compared to what I was seeing this weekend. I guess I never understood just how good we had it. But Thank you Kev, Jason, Brandon, Adam, Brad, n everyone else I forget the names of... *too much pot! or not enough??*

just wanted to say thanks to jeremiah and SAE. I had a great time and will miss all my homies in columbus.i'll still be back on the weekends occasionally so get at me biatches. until next time....

That shows how much you really know. The owner of the land that you speak of really isn't the real owner of the land (Larry, right?), and he was in his house all weekend, and doesn't know shit about what we did nor do you. I advise you to stop trying to be important and kicking some knowledge about shit you don't know the half about, when I myself know exactly what we spent/lost; not that it's anyone's business or anything *hint*...

i'm a firm believer that everyone who has something to get off their chest, should get it off their chest.

the only thing more annoying than someone complaining about a party are the 10 people who waste time complaining about the person making a complaint...

i mean, damn. way to do the thing you're complaining about doing.

plus, there are shady businessfolk around.

and that needs to be communicated.

in this case, tho, it seems like the drama could have been contained to the people who were directly involved. and it seems the one initiating it may not be 100% innocent.

but you know what? we're not a jury. Bluelight isn't a court. And no one's on trial. So, i imagine this type of bickering should be relegated to PMs or emails.

but, if there are instances of shady promoter-ness going on (hard to be shady with only 200 people there), but i don't think the promoter leaving his post and some fortunate folks getting in for free b-c of it is exactly shade.

so, by all means, folks.... remember: you're not just partykids... but you're also watchdogs. and it IS your responsibility to keep YOUR scene clean by openly calling out promoters for any possible shady manuever they may have done...

trust me, i'm sure some of the older kids can recite at least 20 instances of pure unadulterated shameless shade

Hey, I just wanted to say thanks to the SAE crew for tolerating me as freaked out as I was post getting pulled over. Jimmy thank you for the use of your sound you are a great DJ and always a sweet person. I appreciate folks like you just being nice to be around and helpful and cool. jere -- It's always great to work with you. I wish more people had appreciated this event. It was a great venue, though far away. I had a wonderful time bringing my friend to his first party there. Thanks for all the hard work that went into this. One love. Take care of each other.

SAE RAWKS!!!! I must give you guys mad props.... I saw just how hard you guys werkd yer asses off to make this event jump off proper like... I don't know what those of you are thinkin if you think that any of the SAE cats are shady especially Jere cuz they did all they could to make sure everyone had a great time... Mad props from me and im sure from SAE to those who helped pick up trash on Sun...

The party had a great loose knit vibe from my perspective... due to the size of the venue it is hard to vibe with all the kids that were there but it happens...

Skillz -- Yer my boy, and i will miss ya when yer gone....

To all those that like to complian--- I think we can all agree that it is better to focus on what you did right than wrong. If you are really ticked about something don't just come here and bitch about it and start shit... Try CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM... I don't know but personally of somebody tells me something in a more constructive way i am more apt to follow their suggestion than when they come and bitch up a storm spreading negativity and ultimately just pissing people off...
