Official Paedo Discussion Megathread v2

Almost certainly, there are respected figures in the public eye who currently indulge in sex with minors. Any revelation of their identities, however, will have to wait until they're dead. Some ofthese chaps went to the right schools and those who didn't have the capacity to implicate chaps who did, you see. One must always play by the rules, mustn't one?
 
Doubt there's any chance of anybody with any real power or influence being outed. Slebs are one thing - ten a penny - old school tie-types are quite another. I very much doubt that the class sytstem somehow doesn't apply in paedo circles. You kinda expect that lot'll be the worst of the worst too :\

Now, now.

I have had friends raped. I have had friends falsely accused of rape. I am not fishing for sympathy here; I just do not believe that falsely accusing someone of rape does them any less harm than actually raping them.

Also, when false accusations of rape are bandied around so freely, this has the ultimate effect of diminishing the credibility of genuine rape accusations.

I had the same reaction (and more) documented in the previous Jimmy thread when he was charged.

If he was caught importing the finest 100% MDMA and sentenced to death through a little known sharia by-law I'd dance on his fucking grave.
 
Thanks largely to MP Tom Watson, who used his Commons immunity to allege pedophilia in high political places like he previously did to break the NoW phone hacking scandal, Scotland Yard announce the commencement of a full scale enquiry centering on activities in a South London guest house during the 1980s. More historic offences and the outing of dead perverts? Best not to get prematurely cynical, eh?
 
If you fancy 13 year old girls when you are 13 yourself does that make you a paedo?
 
What about if you're 30, don't find 14 year old girls attractive now, but still occasionaly flog yourself off over 14 year old girls you fancied when you were 14? Does that still mark you down as a paedo? :)
 
I see that Stuart Hall (It's a Knockout!!) is now being charged with rape of a 22 yr old, and 14? counts of indecent assault on children from the age of 9..!! WTF is going on with all these old 70's presenters? One thing that this whole sorry issue illustrates quite succinctly is that paedophilia and/or child molestation is not more prevalent these days, it's just that we are more aware of it and people are more willing to report it now. My partner was abused by her stepfather from the age of 9 (also in the 70's) and when it came to light, it was all hushed up and swept under the carpet (her mother is still with him FFS :X). I've shared her pain for the last 20 years and it never gets any easier, so this is a subject which really makes my blood boil, especially now we have kids of our own. Chances are that the further back you go in history, the situation was even worse - how those poor kids must have suffered not having anyone to turn to at all...
