Nicest compliment you've received lately

I've had a few people tell me that I'm looking well rested and more relaxed.
Followed by 'the best thing that has happened to you was becomming single'

Aparantly the reason for the first compliment was the second.

I thought this comment was really nice becuase we were both coming down and we should have been ripping each others heads off.

i got this via email yesterday from a fellow bluelighter who shall remain nameless...ive only seen him once and that once he made an impact on me and i on him...hes the kindest and most compassionate guy one could ever hope to meet...over a hundred odd beers we got to know the nitty gritty bits of each other and become quite good friends. i am pleased that i know i can turn to him when things go wrong...he wrote this bout me *insert from looong email ;) * and it made tears come to eyes...

...and this is, in part, why i am writing this and im going on the impulse to get it out of the way before i regret and lose the chance to tell u, for better or worse, as little as i want it, and as unknowingly as u did it, u have enriched my life somwhat. and u should know that... who u are now, have made ur impact on the people surrounding u (and u should know that). if i were to say so selfishly, u have made a subtle difference in my life even if u didnt mean to, or know it. and if i am the better for knowing u, u should know that, and take comfort in that.

its amazing how over one session of drinks people can bond and form a layer of closenss, something in which they find in commen and become intertwined that way...

Ive got to say the best compliment ive ever had was today , it never came in the form of words , just a glance at my girlfriend , into those beautiful big brown eyes as she tilted her head slightly ,with the slightest of slight off to one side smiles .It felt like she could see into the depths of my soul and i could not ,and would not hide anything from her ,she loves me and from that glance i now know how much :)

Doofqueen IS a goddess if anyone has ever seen her before and she is the best doofstomper ever and is generally an all round champ

And fuck yeah Mirage and star_beats have apparently had a photoshoot before...aint that right? You guys are both fucken hot. :P

The best compliment I ever got was from none other than my best buddy Soularus, who said to me a few weeks ago:

"Every girl here on campus looks at you and me and thinks to herself "hey, I would DEFINITELY rate those guys at LEAST a 9 out of 10"......we are fucking hot man, girls all around here just go home and secretly make shrines to you."

If anyone was wondering why I spend EVERY day with him, those comments are why hahahahahahahaha
