So glad all that ownership business worked out for you guys......the previous owner was a serious skunt.

Well they kinda extorted the fuck out of the city to keep em here haha

they said unless we get a new downtown stadium we’re out. And lo and behold it’s now under construction

i have a feeling that it was mainly people of a certain higher than average socioeconomic class who think this is the best use of our local tax dollars

Yeah, our stadium was also built by government, sort of, but our ownership ended up covering it all anyway. At least you guys have a real owner.....we were owned by a teachers' pension plan before and now by two competing telecom/media/tv/internet conglomerates. We have no one to hang if shit goes sideways.

it’s this one guy and his family that own it now. They own some other pro sports teams too i think so I would think they at least know what they’re doing
