Bupe *New Suboxone film * official thread*

Injecting anything that isn't meant for IV/IM usage is foolish and will undoubtedly result in damage if you're not micron filtering. Sooner or later.

I've barely ever heard of micron filtering. I read up a little. Would the films work about the same as the tablets and produce as safe an end product as the tablets if processed correctly through a micron filter??

I'd say if you insist on iving the films would be safer after micron filtering because of the less binders and fillers; Captain H has a ridiculous micron filter thread that will answer all your questions

Thanks. I did take a look at the thread. I'm going the subligual route for now. I know its the safest. Lord knows I've already done enough damage to my body. Something about iving the films I don't like. When I break the film down in water, the soltution is thick. This scares me. I don't kn.ow if micron filtering would fix that or not. I feel like whatever it is that makes the film a film, might eventually harden back up in my veins. This is just a feeling, though. I have no evidence to back that up. Personally, I like to iv because I feel like it hits me so muchstronger and harder than subligual. This is just my opinion, and I'm sure it has somthing to do with my needle fixation. Anyway, harm reduction is what I'm basically looking for, so thanks for the info.

^You can make a nasal solution that gives stronger effects than sublingual admin but doesn't have the complications of IV.

Micron filtering strips for injection produces a practically clear solution with the consistency of water. I used to not filter my strips when I shot them, and then once I filtered, I realized how much unnecessary stuff I was putting in my body :X

How many tongues do you have?

Oops, I meant I put one strip on each side of my tongue.

I wanted to also add that I recently got switched to the Generic Subutex due to cost concerns. I was paying a lot for 60 of the Suboxone Film/Tablets. I just picked up my generic subutex from Target and I only paid less than half for 60 pills. It's even cheaper then what I was paying for Suboxone on insurance which usually only covered half of my script. Be sure that when you go to target you tell them to use the Target Saving's card or whatever it is which will save you a lot of money on generic prescriptions. That being said, the prices that Target has may be different in your area. Whatever you do, just make sure you call around as much as possible. I called five different pharmacies all within a mile radius and got 5 different prices, the most being at Kroger. However, Kroger was by far the cheapest when for Adderall. 60 of the generic 20 MG only cost me a pittance, meanwhile Target quoted me four times that. So, just because a pharmacy carries one drug cheaper then everyone else, it doesn't mean all of their drugs are like that.

how can any of you expect a doctor to take you serious ... by your own logic, the naloxone does NOTHING!!! ... THere is NO REAL DIFFERENCE between generic bupe tablets and suboxone tablets or the film.... Even tho we all know this, ppl are CONVINCED that naloxone is causing those terrible headaches and other side effects we've come to associate with our subs. You're wrong! It's all just drug seeking behavior which is what bluelight facillitates... I wouldn't RX anyone Generic Bupe, cause there is no need for it.. (besides being a lil cheaper)

found an 8mg strip in my wallet this morning. i have been clean of opiates for 60 days tomorrow and decided to see if it would have any effect. i'm surprised at how much of an effect it actually does have. obviously i know it's a strong drug and that 8mg is a lot but being so used to it being just a means of not getting sick and eventually a tool to kick i am honestly surprised.

Has anyone else experienced severe nausea/vomiting from these strips? I've been on the pills and never had any complications; but when I tried the strips, I puked every hour or two until the effects wore off. It was ungodly. I didn't have any opiates in my system and I took them as directed. It wasn't the taste, either. What might it have been?

^Strips seem to absorb better for many people... Perhaps you just got a much larger dose than you are used to from the tablet.

I'd say the same.

Also I logged in here purely for this reason:
I don't know if the stuff we have in australia is any different to other regions - I looked at some pics of the pills a while ago and some have the orange colouring whereas here, they're just white. What I'm getting at here is that I don't know if there are different formulations for different regions or region specific laws that would require certain additives / inactive ingredients be added or removed.

Anyway...
I mixed up and shot one of the strips this morning without a micron filter. DONT DO THIS!!
I felt weird straight afterwards and now, 45 mins later there's this pressure in my head and my eyes are bloodshot.
It felt like the goop had got into my lungs because breathing felt different/difficult straight after I shot the strip.

Also my ears feel weird like there's pressure in them, like in a pressurised airplane cabin or if you go down a hill real fast (like I did with drug use). Ha. But seriously...

Now, I'm one to push the boundaries a bit but really I should know better than to not use a micron filter (used a ear cleaner bud thing) so I'm just warnin others, don't do it. Hold out til you get a micron filter or choose another ROA.

Yes the shot still worked, can feel it pretty well but I definitely won't be doing that again without the correct equipment.

Yeah no kidding..

it was stupid of me to do otherwise.. I've used a pill using a layered q-tip method which leaves the larger inactives on the spoon like this:

O----- < Cotton buds, layered
O-----
\___/_________, < Spoon

But i know the talc would still get through with the pills though ive never had a reaction like i did today with these strips..

Im feeling way better now but damn...
I got a bit scared and I was at work. As soon as i was feeling all these symptoms, i thought how stupid it was, not only to do it, but doing it at work.. I didnt want to collapse and have a colleague calling an ambulance for whatver reason.
Use microns. < Moral of story.

Don't shoot up the strips (or the pills for that matter) without a micron filter, people. If you're feeling junky, put a half a strip up your nostril, and put it up quickly so that you can't see it if you tried. Or drop a solution in the nose slowly if you have enough time, which you probably don't because you are injecting a gooey substance into your body.

i don't like the strips. i usually snort .25-.75mgs of subs, and that dosage is way to hard to eyeball out with the strips

^ with a strip you don't have to eyeball, just measure it and cut it into appropriate segments.

wow, i have never thought of that. i guess i should put down my pipe now hahahaha

"calls sub connect..."

IMO the strips are so much easier to divide. Just with some tiny scissors its very easy. Dividing tabs is tedious, They are very brittle. I dont understand why people like to snort suboxone so much. Ive done every ROA many times as well as every different form of bupe from wax compounded to strips (which I am currently on by choice). I snorted a few times but it was definately not worth it. One time I snorted it and my whole sinus became clogged like it was filled with cement for a week. If you are looking for the high you get from snorting, plugging is basically the same feeling but it lasts longer and you swallow less ;) The film is especially good for plugging with an oral syringe. Hits nice and quick. One thing I am highly concerned about is the number of people who shoot the pills. Im not condemning anyone for what they do, because I shot bupe for years, but it can cause serious problems if not done properly (and i mean EXTREMELY PROPERLY). Alot of people who shoot the pills think like this: "Well Ive been doing this every day and Im still alive..", however that is very dangerous way of thinking . The body can easily form clots from crushed suboxone, and even though you might not be injured right away, somewhere down the line one of these clots can break off, travel to your lungs, and you'll literally drown on your own fluids. I can't understand why alot of people dont like the strips, they dissolve so fast and hit alot harder (7+ years of experience). But ya laCster, isnt your nose fucked doing this daily? Just curious, bupe seems to never give the same feeling to the same people, there are just too many variables. Where snorting a pill might work the best for you, plugging a strip might work better for others. What a fickle mistress bupe is ;)
