Is it true that the mushies die with the first frost? So I take it that here in the A.C.T the season would be over as we have had two -6 degree nights in a row?

Naah thats cool... Most species do well around 25C-30C. The initiative state where fruiting happens is just under room temp...
Sorry sustanon, but thats just not true. 12 to 15 degrees is the ideal temp for subs. If you were talking about cubes i'd agree. Having said that, frosts are not real good for mushies because of their high water content.

well, considering VeryBuffed is in Canberra, it would be pointless to give him advice on cubes and pan cyans at this time of the year. And no, MOST mushrooms have a much lower optimum temperature.
