Movies and Drugs[MEGA MERGED]

Thanks again all for all the recommendations :) Got a huge list lined up on my xbox, not that'd watch it all but its there to pick from.

I expect alice in wonderland+pink floyd to be amazing and that waking life looks like it'll be great too. Followed by if we can manage it donnie dark and the meaing of life, +++

I've never really tried to watch a LOAD of tv like this while tripping.
 
a scanner darkly...but if you watch the whole thing on psychs it will probably depress the shit out of you...

movies are definately a waste of time...just go outside and enjoy the scenery (or do a shitload of psychs and stare at a white wall=p)
 
i thought waking life was cool visually, but its really just a bunch of people talkign a bunch of shit about dreams. no plot, no nothing, it took me 4 tries to get through it all cuz it was so boring.
 
That Donnie Darko website is fucked up and I only got past level 1, and i spemnt like an hour tryin to figure it out:p
 
Disney's Fanatasia! This has got to be the greatest tripping film of all time.

Go outside though, much better!

gee... this an old thread, but for the record, i think i saw that movie crackhouse and it kicked rocks. it was the worst kind of drug movie made. like zero fact based on anything real. and the drug using scence are so laughable...omg...and everything looks like the 80's and the story and acting are horrible. it should be erased from history. it's gotta be the same film. i actually bought it at a used bookstore for 2 dollars thinking cool, i love dope films. wrong. possibly the worst drug film ever made.

dope sick love is the real mutha, though. it shows you how junky couples operate in the city, scam money, and generally slam alot of dope and smoke a shit load of crack. this is how it really is. these films are totally diametrically opposed at oppisite ends of the reality spectrum.
 
eraserhead is really the only answer.

the pedestrian/clueless tastes of druggies really depress me sometimes. aren't you people supposed to be, like, interested in the counterculture and arts and stuff? and not major budget look-mom-it's-WEIRRRRD shit like "the cell" and that favorite of quantum crack idiots and right wingers everywhere, "what the bleep do we know, after all the people who made this movie are a bunch of retards who never read a science book that didn't say something about yoga"?
