Movies and Drugs[MEGA MERGED]

well, it's a movie intended to sway you. yeah, a lot of people's lifes suck when they get involved with drugs. but they sucked before too, just in a different way.

how? his wife was a bitch and a cokehead and he was a huge cokehead and he went to jail and his daugther hates him. And he was hopelessly addicted for a while.
 
Yeah but he got all the drugs he wanted practically for free, had all the money he could hold for a while, and she was fucking PENELOPE CRUISE. Enough said. Ruled.
 
Exactly, thats why she is so damn hot. And yes his life did rule until he got into coke (as is the case with most everyone who gets into coke...)
 
There was the badass: Living in Cali smokin on some badass bud part, partying, a cute girlfriend lots of friends then he found the badass connect.
Then he started doing coke and of course it was badass for the time being, But he was addicted, he should have stopped the first time the feds busted up his party, he should have quit when his stupid wife told the cops about what was in his trunk, but he didn't becaus he was addicted, and now hes still in the middle of one of the worst "comedowns" you could ever imagine.

Your arguement might hold some sway if you spelt Cruz right.

His life did rule through the movie until the end, but its the end that matters. Gaol, no money, no wife, and partial maddness.
 
blow is based on true life events but the fact is jorge jungs and carlos rivas life was good for awile hell it was great but if you want to see it as it happend go read Kings Of Cocaine
 
well, Jung dealt drugs in the 70s-80s, the PRIME of easy drug dealing....he seemed happy,but with everyone, some is good but not near enuff so he wanted to make more money, and got busted...he could have easily lead a nice, very comfortbale lifestyle selling weed but he got greedy.....its never enuff....i dont think people will ever realize that making a little extra will guarantee happiness...
 
It could be argued that if he had quit while ahead, he would have had a better life. You could say that in his position, you would have quit while ahead....But the fact of it is this guy didn't, and none of us (most likely) will truly know what we would do if we were in that position.

In the end, he went to prison over a plant - twice (follow me here...coke comes from a plant as most people already know). It is a sad day indeed when a man goes to prison over a plant.

If it wasn't for the plant being illegal, he wouldn't have mad any money or fucked that hot bitch.
 
I dug when they threw out the line and I don't remember the excat years, but if you did coke around something like 77-80 there was an 80% chance that it was his coke. Don't know if I have the excat numbers again but the % was huge. Now that is what I call movin product
 
I just rented a movie with lots of crack smoking. The acting is alright...and its totally fake when they're smoking..but its good.
Its called "Acts of Worship."
 
All I know is, I always thought to myself when I would seen the scene where she yells to the cops that he has a shitload of coke in his trunk, I would have got ahold of some people and killed that bitch!
