im not sure if i have - but if i did, its usually because corporations these days are a little more ruthless with their chasing of profits than i deem necessary for a functioning society free of exploitation . . .

no . . . the things that matter to me are people, art, music, taking care of each other, the education system, the health system, the welfare system . . . it is precisely because of many large businesses that these things are now constantly under threat . . .

The original poster may have done it themselves. Clicking "delete" on your original post deletes the whole thread, and everyone else's replies with it. (Just so you know it may not have been a mod - mods usually just close threads)

Edit: actually pekkie after further investigation I think this WAS what happened... 1234 started a thread in the staff forum last night expressing his frustration that people could just delete whole threads they've started themselves, even if they contain valid posts, on a whim. There doesnt seem to be any way to stop them doing so, unfortunately.

Then I find out he's still frustrated.

I had a substitute teacher called Mr. Bradley one day in Yr 8.
He had a listhp an' was gay.
He taught us about Ancient Roman Clothing.

...that people could just delete whole threads they've started themselves, even if they contain valid posts, on a whim. There doesnt seem to be any way to stop them doing so, unfortunately.
