Methoxetamine Discussion Thread

Decided to stop derailing the opiate thread, but I just IM'd 16mg across two shots, I think I'm a fan :) I'm in a very smooth but relaxed state of dissociated weirdness. Enjoying it more than when I snorted it.

Only complaint is a temporary burning sensation at the injection site, much like the burn I get from snorting it.
 
i experience a short and small burning sensation when IMd in the upper arm, the deltoid, until i used the middle muscle in the thigh as well as the buttocks and it was all good. no pain was felt in the same spot from the midazolam amps. i've noticed burning sensations from IMs in hospital settings so have no solid explanation about the mxe burn. burning sensations from flu shots to morphine shots.

what gauge and length tip did you use? my preferred are either a screw on 25 or 26g 1 1/2 inch tip with a 3mL luer lock barrel. i insert until i'm almost butting up against the barrel. i've had NSP employees and read this is the right way about it. on the other hand i had one lady i should be (and did that time with midazolam, which left dot marks on my shoulder) using 23g tips with her reasoning being the 26g could snap off :|. they're rather large and unless you've got parkinsons there ain't fuck all chance they're breaking off in there! i've pulled off a fair few IM's, along with my doctor in his practice, with a 27g terumo without a hitch.
 
Yeah I used both the upper arm and thigh, got a burn from both , but it faded after a minute or two.

I'm using 27g 1/2inch, only ones I have on hand atm, bit short for IMing but it doesn't seem to be an issue if you only do 1/2ml - 1ml at a time, would prefer something longer but I haven't bothered to stock up on them.

I accidently picked up some 22g once, and they looked monstrous in size, couldn't see myself putting one of those into my body :p Snapping off is a scary thought, but like you said not sure what the chances are...

This stuff reminds me a bit of nitrous too, for some reason. Doesn't have the same heavy hullucinogenic kick as K, but maybe I just need to up the dose still more. At 20mg now and about to go another 5. Typing is getting a bit tricky, so I might be slow replying :p

only complaint is that it doesn't seem to have the same anesthetic effect that k/nitrous do.

IV'd another 5mg. No burn, very weird sensation as it kicked in. Just enough left in my baggie for a full 25mg shot later on :D

really?, though I can't compare nitrous and ketamine (tried but was years ago) I definately find a significant anasthesia, like I was just picking at my dry lips on it a bit the other day and then looked at my fingers and there was blood I didn't even realise.

I really like this stuff too tho, only ever snorted it. Initially it was too whack too think straight on (though not in a bad way) but after some tolerance :( I find movies and other stuff all the more interesting on it :) good fun. Things like Avatar on me big screen and some MXE mmmmm
 
It's said that oral ketamine is very bad for kidney.
Is it also the case of oral methoxetamine ?
 
^yep, the chemist had this in mind and added a certain ring to the structure (it's mentioned in an online interview) to give it less toxic effects. i will have a quick rehash of the interview when i build up the energy;) think i did the smart thing and saved ir in my bookmarks. it's not that hard to track down:)
 
Interesting read.
I managed to get a try last weekend. After reading elsewhere that it was active at 10mg sublingually I tried 15mg sublingually. The only effect was a slight sedating feeling and a feeling of being heavy. Similar to having 4 or 5 beers.
Tasted close to Ketamine so am confident it wasn't tiletamine or a fake.
I know it was a small dose but I wanted to check for allergies.
Anyone else get an effect of small doses?
 
^ I found small doses gave a very theraputic, almost anti-depressant, kind of feeling of well-being with noticable stimulation. That was with sub-dissociative doses. Quantities varied as I had two batches that were markedly different in strength. With the stronger of the two 25mg sublingually would have had me pretty spangled but not tripping.

Edit: sorry i saw you took 15, not 25mg. If you're not having any allergic reactions try a slightly higher dose :)

(note: i did have a histamine reaction the first time I tried it with flushed neck & chest, alleviated with good old promethazine)

On a side note has any one had bad reactions to MXE?
I tried mine on Saturday night and it is probably just a coincidence but on Tuesday afternoon my left arm went numb/cold and tingly like pins and needles. S
Ultrasound came became negative for clots and seems to be getting better. But it has been present for 48 hours.
From my understanding of the chemical it shouldn't have had anything to do with my symptoms just curious to ask around.
 
^ nope. If you did an IM or IV shot and had that reaction then it'd be cause for concern, otherwise I'd say it was unrelated. Hope it's nothing serious.
 
does anyone else get some funny amplification of particularly background noises on MXE?

My PC sounds like a freight train on it sometimes lol, granted it is a bit noisy due to some overpowered fan cooling but still it gets amplified and mechanical sounding wierdly with MXE 8(
 
^Yes. I did a but of a dumb thing yesterday and railed ~70mg ofr my first dose. It caught me a bit by surprise at how hard it hit but the audio effects were well worth it.

When i was sitting out of the front of my house it sounded almost as if I could hear the different wavelengths of sounds from cars passing by. It was fantastic.

How does everyone compare nasal to oral dosing ? I might give try eating ~50mg tonight, maybe a little less with a few drinks.
 
i'm really amazed at how low everyone else's doses is on MXE. I guess not everyone was a massive k-head like me back in the days.

With mxe. if i do anything under like 100mg or so. it doesn't really do much for me aiye.

haven't done it for a while thou, as last few times i've done it, after the trip i start to get like really sick like similar sickness u get if u do too much oxy but didn't eat any antihistamine. and was getting heaps of burping too. Ended up throwing up last 2 times I did it as well. I donno is it because the batch I have is dodgey, or my body is starting to reject the chemical?

Might give it another try again tonight see how i go aiye
 
I'm cautious because I haven't tried it before. I know how Ketamine affected me at different doses. After reading one report that the user reported quite a psycadelic (spelling) trip from just 10mg I wasn't diving head first into a relatively new RC with a standard K dose.

In my younger days I probably would have. These days I'm alot more responsible drug user:)
 
Could be the tolerance to K. I've pretty much got zero tolerance to K, only had it a few times (and not in a couple of years). 70mg made it very difficult for me to speak or walk, even when I was already on a low dose of Meth. I also found the comeup a little overwhelming, but this could be largely due to the fact I was expecting something a lot more milder, similar to Ketamine. Regardless, "the fear" reared it's ugly head occassionaly for the comeup. It kind of fell into my lap so I had done bugger all research on dose and effects etc. I was a bit surprised when it started to really kick in 10-15 minutes after snorting it. You tried eating it headdah or just snorting ?

could be either lower potent sample, possibly a natural tolerance. i've used two diff batches, one i ordered another a friend aquired, and mine way far the better at least 2/3rds more potent. certain indian suppliers are said to be the dodgy guys at the moment,
 
Last time I did 100mg I blacked out.

According to my girlfriend I asked who I was and where I was for an hour or so and then spent the remainder of the trip crying.
