Meth in melbourne is fake shit no high

It’s also really bad In brisbane, and its so expensive so you are paying more than twice as much and using twice as much to get what you want out of it.

Yep. Ounces trippled in 14 days. 3 seperate lines of enquiry all the same. I want to say a big Fuck You too the importers/cooks.

The very top is controlling it and reeling in the rewards. For a change its not to do with mid-high level suppliers. I know that keys (1kg) bags have exactly double in the past 3 weeks.

I’d buy a key if I could find one - only way to make the per gram price affordable. Hard to convince the officer you were just trying to save money though.
 
I wouldn't say the past 3 weeks. Its been steady maybe 4-6 weeks ago was the shock horror price increases. Laughable really. Giving plastic gangsters a big head thinking there rolling hard but in theory there paying stupid base price on somthing they make minimal off so in my opinion its a stupid time for anyone to survive off hustling this shit. Let's have a honest stab at when we will see realistic figures again. I'm gunna put my guess down at 18 months minimum.

May be a dumb comparison but at some will know: we've had a ban on the sale of all tobacco products since 27 March lock down and it was only lifted last week. But cigarettes were being sold on the black market at exorbitant prices but cigarettes made by local manufacturers i.e. not those made by the major players like British American Tobacco who, up until COVID, created pretty much of a monopoly. Well turns out: some of the local manufacturers (in a very few cases anyway) make cigarettes of comparable quality for half the price of the supposed "real deal" cigarettes. Given that British American Tobacco a) got a handout from government anyway and b) took at least two months to take the government to court to fight the ban and then backed out (for reasons as yet unknown to the population and c) now want to put their prices up drastically to try and claw back their COVID losses: they can go fuck themselves sideways i.e. I make it a point now to smoke one of the particularly good and in every way comparable cigarettes to the known brand that I've been smoking for decades before I buy another British American Tobacco product. I hope my comparison makes reasonable sense.

Or is this just pure greed (which again is something I'll never understand among many other things) i.e. the Meth. is being produced locally but the dealers have used COVID purely as an excuse to raise prices and cut the stuff to shreds.

Or is all of the above a too simplistic view of the topic at hand?

There are small scale labs in Australia but the bulk of meth is produced in Myanmar, China, Taiwan and other countries in Asia. At the lowest retail level its impossible to know where your stuff is coming from, although I believe mine is usually Taiwanese because the people I get it from seem to be associated with a Taiwanese criminal syndicate. However, the big importers bringing in 100 + kilo lots could be any nationality (they often seem to be mediterannean background when busted) and then they parcel it out to distribution outfits often based on different ethnicities. I've seen a few levels of a Taiwanese group and a Thai group that seem to sell the same stuff.

I've seen that even as of last week there is super pure uncut crystal available "to friends" but you've got to make your case or you'll be served up stuff that is anything from 10-30 % MSM IF THEY LIKE YOU and more than 50 % if they think you are a chump. I suspect the higher level wholesalers are upping prices on pure crystal on the assumption there will be no new imports for an extended period and then that's flowing through the system while everyone steps on stuff more and more. Of course, for regular users you see if your dealer is really your friend through all of this. There are a few people I'll never even speak to again but one person who's looked after me well through the whole thing giving me quality rock while slinging MSM to most other people.
 
All I know is what my friend told me. My friend being a DEA agent now which was a shocker to me considering he was affiliated with the Hells Angels before when I first met him. But he had contacted through email around the same time I relapsed in 2016 and told me to give him a phone call and gave me the number and told me wtf was going on and how he had to move out of town because if the clubhouse found out he’s working for the otherside then they’d kill him.

But to get to the point he warned me if I was still using and told me that there was shit in the dope that wasn’t going to get me high but still fuck with my health. And he said this cut hasn’t been studied too much so the long term side effects are unclear but that I should stay away from it. And he said it was n-benzylamine, and isopropylbenzylamine.. and I had to take his word for it because he was always the one looking out for me even back when I was 17 when I first went to the club house and wanted to meet the Hells Angels. He didn’t want me getting myself involved and getting myself into trouble and wanted me to surround myself with positive people and I felt he was doing the same thing then too because after all those years he wouldn’t just reach out and contact me to give me a spook. So some bullshit is going down.. OR some of us just don’t have the good connects and are shit out of luck so I guess I should stop bitching cuz it’s kept me sober this whole fucking time. I’m just bored and I miss the high for fucks sake!

Matter of fact: I'd be real interested to know of the statistics (if they even exist) of how many users of drug X (their DOC) have changed to using some other drug simply because their DOC now available has become so shit that it's just no longer worth it (and have move on to something else simply because it's the lesser and more worthwhile of two evils).

I think you may be right with meth. There are definitely toxic cuts entering the supply chain at lower levels. @Draven26 is not wrong about that, altough exactly what the cuts are remains a bit of a mystery (n-iso was actually found in a few places in california in 2008 I just found out). However a few years ago waves of highly pure meth flowed through Australia and all the signs are that there are vasty stockpiles in the manufacturing countries ready to be launched towards Australia post-Covid. Personally, I worry alot about cuts and they are one of the reasons I'm so keen to quit/cut back. I know lots of people have been ripped off so many times during covid that they've probably given up for good both through being fed up and simply getting over their addiction because there is no supply. These people may or may not pick up again if there is the proposed flood of pure meth in the next year or so. Prices doubled in covid but they could halve from what they were originally if importers succeed in tapping into those big offshore stockpiles.

I see two cuts in Sydney.

One I am 90 % sure is simply MSM which is not toxic and has no psychoactive effects. It's easy to see it because it dissolves far more slowly than meth and looks like tiny glassy shards when you mix up for an IV shot. It will eventually dissolve but too slowly to be meth. Smokers often don't notice it. Shooters see it straight away. SOmetimes you get a little bit of it from rock crystal where the gear has been re-rocked but in that case it seems to be a tiny fraction of the total amount of meth. I'd tolerate a little of this as I think it gets inserted high up the food chain when it is in the shard.

The other is more mysterious and may in fact be something like N-iso because it has psychoative properties and increases the amount of water you draw up (i.e. you put in 1 unit to dissolve the stuff and you get 2 or more units back) and it has a really sketched out but short acting high. However, the shitty high it gives can seem like tolerance as well so its always hard to be 100 % sure. It also tends to produce red splotches on your chest / neck and give a headache. I've only seen it in gear that was already crushed / powdered when supplied and never experienced it from rock crystal. No-one should ever accept crushed / powdered meth.

That's an interesting proposition. I guess troughout human history most intoxicants have been psychadelic or sedating like opiates rahther than stimulants (not withstanding incas and the coca leaves and whoever the fuck munches stuff like khat - but even they were natural). Maybe as the world is overtaken by woke vegans with a passion for artisan products there will be a return to natural rather than industrialised synthetic highs. But a million dodgy chinese chemists and a communist party policy of flood the decadent failing West with whatever drugs you can come up with suggests otherwise. I reckon there will always be demand for highly bioavailable stimulants (and not just from me!). That said, I would pay top dollar for 100 % artisan meth produced to my exacting specifications from a guy i was on first name terms with....

You mentioned red spolotches on the chest! Damn I would get that shit as well with the meth that I thought was being cut with iso or whatever the hell that shitty cut is. On another post you said you disagree with me on meth still feeling euphoric and I had to correct myself. You are correct. After sometime you do grow a tolerance to the drug and I should know because I've used heavily on and off for 15 years. But what about if someone was clean for 6 whole years without any relapses and then go back to it. When I had relapsed in 2016.. I was clean for 6 straight years and did the whole married life and all (( didn't work out because my ex wife was a crazy christian that wouldn't let me have a social life.. bless her heart she was only trying to look out for me and prevent me from relapsing but the bitch ended up cheating on me lol so fuck her )) but after 6 years and when relapsing I shot that shit up and you'd know the high if it was amazing especially when injecting but the shit that I got left me feeling like I was having a heart attack. It literally left me panicking almost and then my face was flushed and stained red.. and the euphoria from it was after the minute long panic and it was barely any euphoria worth mentioning that lasted 15 minutes maybe.. and then I passed out. Woke up and was like.. "WTF!?" my relapse was not worth it by any means but of course I ended up finishing the bag hoping I would find some sort of high or something but it left me disappointed. After that it was a whole fucking year trying to find different dealers and I wasn't giving up that easy until one day I just said fuck it.. the good shit has gone and I don't know if I'll ever get the good batch of dope.. and then I get that email from my HA friend who tells me he's working for the feds and gives me the details on what's going on in his end and just wanted to make sure I wasn't messing with the shit but I told him the truth about my relapse. This was the same cat that forced my ass into going to NA and I tried sneaking out and him and another Hells Angel member dragged my ass back inside. Lol I miss those memories man.. back when the shit was good and life was so much more.. meaningful? There wasn't all these protests.. no covid.. people actually got along.. fucking times were different. Now days it seems like everyone is sketchy and wanted to take advantage of you and women just wanna act like dudes and fuck.. but don't care to get to know you or fuck with you.. just fuck and leave.. and all the men are the ones that are emotional as if the tables were turned.. I don't know maybe it's just me but life has been a mind fuck these last few years! Smokers can tell MSM. You drop a point in the pipe and the majority of it basically disappears into thin air when heated. Looks like it leaves water around the top of the pipe.

I was never really into ice, but I would buy a couple of points every now and then, years ago (would have been just as happy with ritalin or dexies but they weren't always easy to come by). Hundred bucks worth of crystal was always a much better deal than a hundred bucks worth of goey. Unless it was cut with MSM - I stopped buying it when people started using that shit as a cut.

I don't think isopropylbenzylamine is anywhere near as common as people seem to think. Importation would attract as much attention as meth. Synthesis is no easier than meth. All of the 'evidence' of its' prevalence seems to be based on people getting shit meth and assuming it is isopropylbenzylamine. I saw it on eBay for a thousand dollars an oz when ounces of decent shit weren't much more than that.

The dopey, tired, uncomfortable feel that people relate to iso, sums up the way that DMBA/DMHA (smokable stimulants found in preworkout blends) made me feel. Also, n,n-dimethylphenethylamine (meth is alpha,n-dimethylphenethylamine) has been selling for next to nothing and is used as a 'flavouring agent' and stimulant in sport supplements. Smells fishy apparently. Plus a never ending array of research chemicals.

The possible cuts are endless.
