Mephedrone Megathread VIII: Hnnnng!

Noticed in the shower this morning my knees were smurftastic (like bright blue with green and purple spots) with the blue extending up and down my calf/thigh

also hands have a blueish tinge, i didnt even have much meph :\

ah wel, both have cleared up a bit after a shower :)
 
I can't believe the police are still saying it's plant food. Like the "It's plant food, so its not meant for ingestion or inhalation by humans." I just heard.

You'd think they'd have sent round a memo or something by now, to stop them sounding so thick :|
 
Ok, well we knew that was coming.

Now we just have to wonder if there's enough pressure for the government to fast-track trough some legislation before normal end of June date...

I almost wish they would make it class A if their gonna make it illegal. Hopefully that would help prevent it being passed off as cocaine/MDMA etc., or being used as a cut.

what? :\ that is a ridiculous comment IMO. drugs aren't used to cut other drugs because they're a lower class it's because they're cheaper....
 
hmm, maybe your right, I didn't spend too long thinking about it.

Do you think we would have had such a big problem with piperazines in pills though, If they had been made class A rather than C? And surely the class of a drug directly affects its cost to some extent, due to the level of risk taken by the supplier/dealer etc... E.g. The potential punishment for importing bzp would be far greater if it was class A rather than C.

Thinking about it though, I guess its more of an international issue. Seeing as most pills are pressed before they get here, coke has already been cut etc... the choice of cut would be based more on bulk international prices. Global (or possibly Europe-wide) measures taken to limit bzp or meph production and supply, (like what exists with MDMA etc) could raise the price and make bzp or meph a less viable cut. But no, your right - national level variations in law would have little to no effect.

The pip problem was at its height while those pips were legal?

Pips easy to put in pills and **to some extent** "mimic" the effects of MDxx type drugs.....

They were branded as a legal alternative to mdxx...

Sadly, whether meph becomes class A,B or C, the quality is going to deteriorate rapidly and the price will go up....

bzp was only classified in december... not all piperazines fell under the ban

they were put in because they were cheap as fuck and legal

legality is a factor but what class of drugs makes pretty much 0 difference, the big one is cost/availability

(c) after paragraph 1(c), insert—

“(ca) 1–benzylpiperazine or any compound structurally derived from 1–benzylpiperazine or 1–phenylpiperazine by modification in any of the following ways—

(i) by substitution at the second nitrogen atom of the piperazine ring with alkyl, benzyl, haloalkyl or phenyl groups;

(ii) by substitution in the aromatic ring to any extent with alkyl, alkoxy, alkylenedioxy, halide or haloalkyl groups.”;

Seems pretty widely accepted meph use develops a cross tolerance with mdma. Could anyone try expanding on this at all? I.E. The extent to which meph can develop mdma tolerance, the effect of levels and frequency of meph use etc...?

Gonna be having proper mdma for the first time in about 2 years at the weekend. Was getting all excited about how low my tolerance would be. Then remembered about the apparent meph cross tolerance, and started to wish I hadn't been messing round with meph so much recently. :\
 
i heard on the radio today (classic gold) that meph is going to become class B. aparantley some exspert i cant remember who they said, reckons from what he can see its the same as amphetamine so shoud be a B.

what a piss take if they make meph class B and keep MDMA class A :|
