Mephedrone Megathread VIII: Hnnnng!

cross tolerance, I dunno. Done some pills recently and they seemed shite, but it was equally because the pills were shite I reckon.

If anybody got any pure crystal and want me to do an experiment for them I'll post back a report! :D

I agree it's stupid. Remember what you're referring to is the advice of the ACMD though. The government don't have to follow their advice and often don't if it doesn't suit them. E.g. the ACMD advised the government MDMA should be downgraded class B and that the cannabis should remain class C.

The current classification of drugs makes almost no sense to me, and seems to be mostly based on "How it makes the government look". I.E. The reclassification of MDMA makes a lot of sense, but no doubt the media would get their knickers in a twist, write a lot of meaningless rubbish about how dangerous it is, and how anyway, "reclassifying it will send out the wrong message" etc.

Heh, ;) Yeah, it's pretty damn hard to compare drug experiences and accurately attribute the reasons for differences. There's so many factors that could have an influence.

If I'm dissapointed at the weekend I could blame meph, or it could be a case of me over hyping my expectations, and viewing past MDMA experiences through rose-tinted glasses
 
lol what pills were they perfect? All we get round these parts is blue cupids/angels, whatever, oh, and blue smurfs, everyone loves em...lol

I still got a stash of the pumas but I'm afraid to eat them in case they don't work right cos of the meph use....

How long is reasonable to lay off the meph before pills?
 
im surprised, apparantly its only going to be class b, this is from an article up on msn this eve about another supposedly "possibly mephedrone related" death:

Mrs Waters paid tribute to her daughter as Professor Les Iversen, the Government's chief drugs advisor, indicated that mephedrone was likely to be made a Class B drug

i wonder how comprehensive the ban will be as its being rushed in? maybe they wont cover all the cathinones, also a lot of people seem to be switching to mdpv round here, not sure thats a good thing as ive seen some people take scary size lines of the stuff

Will people seriously continue to seek out and buy meph once it becomes illegal though? Surely the only reason it's popular is 'cause it's cheap and you can buy it off the internet.

Will suppliers even bother importing it once the risk is increased so much? I know meph dealers are stocking up in huge amounts now (and will no doubt double their prices and cut it to shit once demand outstrips supply) but even with massive stockpiles, it'll still run dry sooner or later if noone is bringing any more in.

I know even with MDMA shortage I'd rather have decent speed as a fallback than meph. I reckon banning it will be the death of it, and that's no bad thing imo.

There is definately a cross tollerance. I've done it a few times, did meph before a double drop on the sonics, hardly felt anything off them where 2 would normally floor me. Did meph after sonics one night too and it totally killed the effects...

Those green rolex were reported by most people as being decent pills, but "not quite right" I had them twice and was off the same person we were getting the big sonics off. They felt like alot more than 84mg of MDMA. And they felt dirty... I had the butterflies that were tested as 90mgs in Holland and they didn't feel nearly as strong and were much cleaner.
 
Had about 400-500mg on friday night for the 1st time. Didn't get too sleep until 11am the next day. Was rough and couldn't eat a thing til sunday lunch time. Was still really tired and spaced out all day monday, coulnd't motivate myself to do much. No depression just really couldn't be arsed doing anything. Have finally shaken it off today after a couple exercise sessions. Still have slight numbness in my thumb, how long does this usually last?

Don't think I will ever touch the stuff again, wanted to try it before using it as a last resort at Glastonbury, if we can't find any MDMA. It was pretty nice, but not worth the after effects.
 
Before I ever used mephedrone I'd take a couple hundred mg's of MDMA and things would get trippy after a couple of hours and some joints. After using roughly 30 grams of mephedrone in the last 6 months I don't seem to get trippy from MDMA and weed. The high feels less intense too

EDIT - The high from mephedrone is less appealing these days also, I have no urges or desire to take the stuff even tho I have bags of it laying around
 
To be fair I've had full blown hallucinations on mephedrone (looking out of windows that weren't even there - watching people that didn't even exist).

Such things have never happened to me on acid.

Although I was mixing alcohol with the meph and necking 300+mg bombs @ a time.
 
ive never even slightly hallucinated on meph, i find it quite strange that otheres have tbh. im not saying its bull shit but just odd that it can have totally diffrent effects on people
 
yeah mate came back to mine the other night, we'd been caning it all evening, a few beers too, came back to mine for a spliff....

Probably near enough a gram each of meph in the end, lol, beers tend to do that, my mate was getting lot of visuals, big grids and matrix patterns, seeing me in sunglasses, clowns shoes etc, you know MDA type hallucinations....

I had slight visual disturbances, but he was seeing things totally unrecognisable.

I put it down to him not being much of a smoker these days, and me being constant, so I guessed the hash/weed was what did it to him....we both had about the same amount of meph, maybe me slightly more if anything.

All drugs effect people differently.

My most life like trips, and I'm talking about full blown hallucinations and seeing things that weren't there, didn't come from acid, mushies or 2CB but from MDMA. Most people probably haven't hallucinated from MDMA though. When I tell my mates about it who have cained MDMA and pills for years they've never experienced anuthing like it, used to happen to me all the time after too many pills or crsytals. Probably just my body converting the MDMA to MDA but people on the same pills / crystal as me and taking just as much never experienced it.

I have a mate who when he takes 2CB nothing happens, even at doses up up to 75mg. I'd be sent to the loony bin on a dose like that.

Just a few examples there are probably more.
